Im not a picky eater or a demanding consumer. I go to the Pittsford Pub because its within walking distance and I enjoy a beer with my meal. Ive been dozens of times and Ive come to expect average (even by pub standards) food and bad service. Every once in a while the service is mediocre, but more often than not, its just terrible. I dont understand how a place can stay in business so long and be so consistently below average. Its probably because people put up with the subpar food and service because its relatively convenient. Or sometimes the staff realizes the service is terrible and they comp a drink or an appetizer. Well, tonight, a Monday night, we had a 2-hour, 1-course meal. The service was terrible and the food was average. The server didnt know what beers were on tap and after our food came out, an hour after we sat down, we waited for 15 minutes with our food in front of us with no silverware. And at the end of the marathon meal, the server didnt seem to realize that she was doing a terrible job - no apologies, no discount on the meal, nothing. Im not one who verbalizes my discontent very often. Ive been on the cusp of swearing off the Pub for a while now, and Ive reached the point where Im just not going to go anymore. This was by no means an isolated incident. Its not just one server. Management and ownership are the problem. Its mildly irritating because Im going to have to drive to the Basin or go to Pittsford Plaza, but its going to be at the very least normal food, probably a better beer selection, most likely average or better service, but most of all I wont waste 2 hours of my life and then feel compelled to spend another half hour writing an honest review. Ive never written a review before, but this experience compelled me to do so in the hopes that one day the Pub becomes even a moderately enjoyable dining experience. Hopefully someone will let me know when it does. The moral of the story is if you go the Pittsford Pub, expect the worst and at least some of the time you might have a mediocre experience.

Was here shortly after they reopened was not good then, slow service, poor food. We decided we would try it again and it has become worse, slow service, un-attentive service, had to get up and go to the bar to get water for the two of us. Wifes chicken was undercooked, my pastrami was so tough I could not chew it. Wine was good soup was good, that was basically our dinner. We did not pay as the manager ate the bill but our evening was pretty well ruined. No third chances for this one!! Is 1st time in 50 years I did not leave a tip, that should be a clue!!

The restaurant in itself is fantastic and appropriately priced. Well kept, good looking place. There are many alcoholic beverages of choice to choose from and the food menu is awesome. Id recommend the Reuben sandwich which is utterly delicious. Wont find one better. The bartenders and servers are professional and very friendly. The restaurant manager, Jamie, is always friendly and ensures all the customers are happy. You can tell that everyone, from the owners down, takes pride in providing the best dining experience. I love eating there.

I enjoy going to the Pittsford Pub for the location, the ambience, and the beer. The service can be good at times, as there are experienced wait staff there. Most of the time, however, our food takes longer than it should to prepare, and is often not very good, especially for what you pay. The prices are not outrageous, but I expect good food. I would consider going more often if the service/food improved. Average pub food is fine, as long as its tasty!

Terrible customer service there was a girl working who was clearly drunk named Corey who was screaming and yelling at other customers asking for a drink. Im not one to complain. I think management needs to look closer at who they hire. She approached me and my colleagues who were there for a drink and was poured the drink all over the table and missed the entire glass. This is pittsford, they can do better. We left disappointed. Our first time there.

The hostess was less than friendly. Our appetizer took 25 minutes, for a hummus and veggie tray. Our meals took almost an hour to come out, and when they did they were all incorrect. Some not cooked, some burned. Some missing items. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The wait staff argued with each other right in front of customers. For a higher class area of town, this place is not at all what I expected. I will not be returning.

The food here is nothing to write home about! Its bland and boring. The service however, is horrible. The host dont know what they are doing. The servers are bad. There is one particular server- suzie, completely rude. She came complete with eye rolling, slapping menus down on the table, and basic bi polar disorder. I would make sure you do not sit with her if you would like a pleasant dining experience.

Great beer, great food, looks really nice after the renovations. But the staff and atmosphere has really gone down hill. Brought my friend here that I was in the Navy with because he was in town on business and we were treated awful. I wont bring business people here again. My original review had this place at five stars and was one of my favorite places. Not sure if Ill ever go back.

Ive been here twice. The first time, on a quiet night, the food was excellent, service prompt and friendly. The second time, a much busier night, the food took forever to come out, the service was indifferent, and the order was seriously messed up, plus the food was quality much lower than the first time. Id give it another shot, but my wife wont go there again.

I HATE writing reviews but I really felt obligated to tonight. Once my friend and I got our table we waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to come over, that was obnoxious . Then she was obnoxious, and then 10 minutes of not asking for our drinks that was obnoxious and left before she came back! I took my business elsewhere!

They remodeled this pub a few years ago and did a wonderful job. Menu has some items on it that you would not expect in a pub. I started with the Ahi Tuna that had sesame crusting that was cooked perfectly... I followed that with Cesar salad that was also very good. Waitress was very friendly and attentive.

I sat at the bar. Ordered food. Watched 3 dudes walk in. They ordered wings. They got their wings. They finished their wings. Im still waiting for my food. 45 minutes is too long for a sausage. Only reason they got 2 stars is a decent tap selection.
