Horrible experience tonight. After a long two straight through days of work I just wanted a quick meal before I went home to bed. Left hungry and extremely frustrated. The host behind the counter told me to pick a seat anywhere, so I did. Restaurant was not busy, waiters were having conversations while facing me. The 4 waiters working served the other 5 tables but the waitress serving my section didnt once even acknowledge me but served the other table in my section no problem. Proceeded to wait a half hour before I decided to pack my stuff up and walk up to the new "host" (by this time the original hosts shift ended) just to inform him that Ive been waiting for a half hour and havent gotten any service. His response was a jokingly "no way...get out of here", as he turned his back to me to file a receipt. Told him to have a good night and walked out the door. Menu is adequate, nothing special. But being the only game in town, the choices for diners are limited here. Regrettably, I wont be coming back after this experience...Ill find another diner on my way home from work. This place isnt that good to overlook this experience.

I took my mom out for lunch this afternoon. When I entered the restaurant no one greeted me as I entered. Then I was placed at a booth , but it wasnt accessible due to my mom being disabled , so I asked to be moved to a different table. We were given a nasty stare and a cold shoulder our waiter was a tall blonde Caucasian that wears a lot of make up . As we continued our meal and was preparing to pay . We asked for a bag for our food . Then the waiter told us okay , then she turned to a co worker and said " Im not giving her a bag, Im not helping those black people" . Ive never received this type of disrespect especially not out with my mother . I would never go back to this restaurant, they discriminate and give you the cold shoulder specially being someone of color ...

So Dirty. The plates are filthy dirty. the eggs tasted foul. There were crunchy pieces of who knows what in my pancakes. And to think the idiot waiter made us wait over 10 minutes before acknowledging we were even in here. It was 10 PM, barely anyone was here and they couldnt be bothered by us or anyone else. Customer behind us had to argue with him for butter. The waiter said he had brought him butter for his bread and the customer had to argue that he would like butter for his potato as well. Simple idiotic things, save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. Even McDonalds isnt this bad.

Friendly service. I was disapointed with breakfast. The ham that came with the "ham & eggs" breakfast was thin, lunchmeat ham instead of the traditional ham steak. The jam packages were faded indicating old age. Upon opening the jam, old age was confirmed! The jam was so old it started to break down from jelly to liquid! The server, although very friendly, never brought my bill after I had, clearly, finished all my food and said, "Thatll be it for me. Off to work!" I had to go to the register and request my bill. (They werent even busy! I was one of 3 customers in the whole place)!

I dont think Ive ever had worse service before I came to this diner. We waited about 15 minutes to order and then we waited 45 minutes to get our food which consisted of 1 burger and 2 paninis. The waitor never came to check how our food was and was standing in the corner most of the time talking to another employee. It was about 9:30 at night so the diner was almost empty. Also, because the waitor never came to ask how we were we had to go up to the front desk and ask for our check and left the diner very displeased. Do not waste your time coming to this diner.

absolutely uneatable food. waitress literally brought the burger plate with rotten - not wilted, but ROTTEN mesclun salad mix and a dirty knife. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, her comment was "yeah - we looked and the whole bag (of salad) was rotten". Didnt comp me a meal, just took off the $1.50 extra they were going to charge me for the salad. I would say it was a one time experience, except the EXACT SAME THING happened to a friend of mine who ate there! I never did nor never will eat there again after that.

Nice place to hangout, our waiter (I think his name was Edgar) was super accommodating, even offering separate checks for our fairly large group. We appreciated that very much. But then the manager, who didnt seem to like that, started to berate him in front of all of the customers. We spoke up and told him how much we appreciated the fact that he gave us all separate checks, and the manager seemed to calm down a bit and understand the great service that our waiter performed for us.

Ordered take out breakfast over the phone only about a minute before arrival. Walked in and was immediately greeted and able to pay for my order. Super friendly staff, offered me to have a seat and offered me water while I waited (which was only a few minutes). Brought me my food and made sure it was right. Will be back when I visit the area next time and ready to try the rest of their menu as well.

The service is here is fast and efficient. They can have you in and out in as much time as you need. Their menu is large, but everything is good. Theyre usually busy, especially during breakfast/brunch/lunch hours, but there is hardly ever a wait becuase they have a large space. This is also a popular late night eating spot. Food is good diner food.

Wonderful 24 hour diner near Bear Mountain that will exceed your expectations. Philly Cheesesteak is made from their fresh roast beef, delicious. And my wifes chicken avocado panini was equally wonderful. Server was kind and helpful. Full dessert selection of cakes and more looked impressive. I would happily return and recommend it.

Westchester Diner is ideally located on Albany Post Road right outside Peekskill New York. The diner has great food, both in taste and variety. The atmosphere and staff are warm and friendly. Meal prices are reasonable, and wait time is very good. There should be no problem finding a parking space there.

Best diner in the area, bar none. Typical diner menu, nice choices, good portions, tasty food, friendly staff, good old-fashioned diner decor, bar, wifi, easy parking. You name it, they have it. Ive tried every diner in at least a 25-mile radius, Im picky about my diners, and this is the winner.

The food was average. I ordered take out. Burger and a Philly cheesesteak. The burger bun was so ordinary. The philly steak meat was dry. I guess over cooked. When my husband picked up the food he said the restaurant looked clean and nice. I will give it another try.

Horrible phone manners. The guy that always answers the phone is in a bad mood all the time, and it talks to u like U are an idiot when y are afán trying to be polite. But we all know who is the idiot. He has no patience. The food is ok thou.
