Stopped in at 12 Grapes for the first time early on a cold Tuesday evening in December. Service was unobtrusive and quite fine. We lingered over dinner and were never rushed - however, it was a Tuesday night and the restaurant got a little busier as the evening wore on, but was never completely full. The food was very good, but short of excellent, just due to poorly made fried calamari. Calamari is always a risky proposition and 12 Grapes turned out a fairly rubbery and tepid plateful. The breading and the grated cheese on top was fine as well as the slightly spicy marinara sauce it came with. Just too cool and too chewy. The other appetizer, a crabcake was very good. Both entrees tried, pork loin with a very nice sauce and rigatoni in a creamy sauce with asparagus, were very good. Finished with a plum cake and chocolate lava cake - both very good. Overall a very pleasant dining experience (one of the owners even stopped by to check with us), with just the calamari misstep.

Arrived at 6pm, and I had a girls out one saturday night, and I was buying over $100 worth of drinks for my girlsfriends and i even ordered food a the bar $130. Everything was going good. Until they tactfully Asked us to pay even more money for a coverband that was coming. So they wanted a additional $10 per person. We got their so early in the night. To be honest, Many people are appalled by your rules. You are loosing customers. The ideal situaiton, since we were there since 6pm, ordered drinks and food with a bill over $130. Then the coverband fee should hav been waved!. You lost my business for you. Bad business Manners on your part. Not customer satisfaction. We could have kept drinking the night away and brought more friends to come, but instead we just went to another place.

My girlfriend and I visited 12 Grapes last Saturday for a girls night out. The food was OUTSTANDING!! I believe they have a new chef and we had the crabcakes and clams as an appetizer and both were superb. We each had the mushroom ravioli as an entree and they have made a typically heavy meal light and delectable! The home made ravioli were delicate and delicious. The motown music was amazing, the lead singer of STAX has a wonderful voice, we were up and dancing in no time. This is a great place for a date night or for just the girls (guys)! We will be going back as soon as possible, Im craving those ravioli! Definitely give 12 Grapes a try, it feels like a home away from home as the staff and owners are so friendly, you will feel like you are visiting old friends.

I live near 12 grapes and have been there countless times. My husband and I stopped going because the husband and wife owners have been rude to us on multiple occasions. Its almost like they have a snotty attitude and are very condescending. Maybe because my husband and I are young they think we should be treated differently. We have been there for dinner and drinks on many occasions and have spent a lot of money there, I just expect a little more respect from the owners. I agree with zagats review of the "confused owners". Im rating it 2 stars because I enjoy their short rib pasta dish, but I wont be back for it because I will not put up with the rude owners

C Manors review: "Great atmosphere, however the menu is too expensive for the quality. Weve eaten here several times and its been a mixed bag with nothing ever wowing us. The bands on the weekends can be entertaining, but the owners should concentrate more on the service of the food while less emphasis on the dance floor. They made us move our table to accommodate the dancers who for most of our meal were hovering over our table. Good potential but currently disappointing on several fronts." I agree with his review 100%. Definitely overpriced for the quality. A disappointment for sure.

I was there yesterday. I had ordered the steak and then later had to run. I had asked for two classes of water, and did not sit at the bar. The steak was very good and the price was good to. The mother and daughter were professional and engaging. weather the owner finds that a flaw thats on him. They new the menu and the wine list. What they did not know was they had been. They were set up. By the Food Network and were being tape for the Resteraunt Take Out. Every body that came in was an actor or actress. All in fun of course.

Coolest place around for a great night out of dancing, dining and the best live music! Not to mention the superb wines and staff! The owners Rich and Jeannie Credidio are tremendous advocates for the local live music scene and are always very attentive to not only their customers, but also to the musicians that play there! Thats a rare and beautiful thing! Ive eaten there alot and never been disappointed. The food and service are outstanding! The atmosphere is warm and the dance floor is perfect!

Great place to dine while enjoying live music. I recommend making a reservation as the place can fill up fast and has a small capacity seating area as part of the dining room is utilized as a stage for the performers. The host was great by not only seating us but continously checked up on us throughout our dining experience. Waitress was attentive and service was great. The food came out minutes after placing an order and tasted great. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

This place is a GEM. Fantastic in every aspect. Owners are so incredibly welcoming. Great food, drinks. live music and entertainment, and patrons. This place is a must-do on your bucket list. You will love it. Quaint town and a quaint place. Always will go back when in the area. Love this place.

Where to begin, this restaurant is outstanding ... the food, the presentation, the service, the atmosphere make a perfect package. The gift wrap is the music. We are traveling over 40 miles tonight to see THE CHRIS OLEARY BAND, which is one of best blues bands this side of the delta!

Overpriced and mediocre brunch buffet. We came here for the advertised Mothers Day brunch buffet ($32 per person). Service was okay but very limited choices for a buffet spread at that price. The food was diner quality at best, and was definitely not worth it for the brunch.

great place for intimate setting for live music. Have heard many groups here. Only issue I have is the small bar area, which invariably spills over into the rest of the restaurant. It can be a bit of a cougar hangout, too.

Went to the restaurant on Saturday. All of our entrees were excellent--pork, duck, salmon, and mahi mahi. The service was efficient and friendly. Nice wine list. Would definitely suggest paying this restaurant a visit!
