This is the worst sushi Ive had, and Ive gotten grocery store sushi. Pleasant experience with staff in restaurant but got take out. The rolls made us gag, tuna sashimi was rubbery and fat, calamari was even more chewy and clearly frozen store bought, and we ordered soft shell crab only to be told after coming back to pick it up they no longer have any which we figured was no big deal till how bad the rolls were. I had high hopes due to their previous reviews but have no intentions of coming back, especially after a $40+ bill and calling with dissatisfaction they had no explanation or courtesy.

Foods not GREAT but its Good. Ive tried a few sushi places around and this is probably one of the better ones. I got a coke to go and got a coke that still had the olympics advertisement on it.. the date was 5/2009 and the soda bottle said it was expired on 8/2008. As you know olympics were in 2008... this was kinda disturbing .

As a sushi lover, I go many sushi places around here and there...infact, all over NY and NJ..and this place is my favorite because of its freshness, kindness and even cost. The sushi they offer even looks better than other places. I still remember the taste! Best!

Mr Song is the owner and is certainly the best sushi in town. Every time I go there he is very friendly and will create your favorite rolls perfect every time. If its your first time eating sushi you must go here so you will go on enjoying sushi for a lifetime.

Thanks to Sushi 101 for honoring me with a free meal on Veterans day. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. This is my new goto spot for Sushi. Its usually not busy here so I hope more people will give Sushi 101 a try.

Terrible.. service was slow and place was empty.. my eel handroll was uneatable.. eel was cold and avacado was rock hard.. they basically have tuna salmon and a lot of cream cheese. Save your stomachs for almost anything else...

Worst sushi Ive ever had. Fried calamari was rubbery and tasted like they just heated up frozen calamari, sashimi was fatty and stringy, traditional and dynamite rolls made me and my girlfriend gag. Never going back to this place

I have had the pleasure to have my sushi at sushi ya for the last 7 years. I can honestly say I have never had one bad meal here. I have tried many other places and this will always be my sushi home. Give it a try!

Top notch Sushi!! The presentation is exceptional, the atmosphere is relaxing, the place is super clean, and the owners are great people. Sushi 101 is worth the trip from anywhere in the Hudson Valley.

Family friendly owners Moe and T. Superb mouthwatering sushi, spicy seafood soup with side of noodles. Everything on menu is a must try. 5 stars.
