The atmosphere was nice, staff was nice, and the service was excellent. It was our first time at this restaurant so I decided to order their award-winning burger and my friend ordered the pork shank with potatoes and broccoli. My french onion soup came out with no cheese on the top, just two pieces of bread floating in the broth. The hamburger was inedible- the dressings were so heavy-handed, it could not be picked up and eaten at all. It was such a mess that I had to use a knife and fork, a total disaster. My friends pork was tough (overcooked) and the potatoes tasteless . . . the broccoli was initially tasteless and had a terrible aftertaste. The meal was a total disaster - John - the owner/manager/chef - was irate about it and a total idiot. He comped our meal, which I was actually willing to pay for. His resistance and inability to take criticism for the garbage he served was unacceptable. We will never be back, nor will we recommend this place to friends.

Came into Perabell with my friend for a light dinner and a glass of wine. The service was quick and accurate. We started with the Burrata which was delicious and came with prosciutto, so I was a happy girl. it also had some arugula and tomatoes (including green tomatoes, which I thought was a little strange, and I eat everything). We each ordered a glass of wine. The selection was nice, and it was moderately priced. We each ordered a salad and added chicken. The salads (mine the strawberry arugula salad & hers the cobb) were delightful. The chicken, however, was a bit dry. It was also an insane amount of chicken (which I guess is good if youre paying extra for it). We both agreed we wished we had just gotten salads with no chicken on top. The salads (large and with chicken), wine, and fresh burrata all came to only about $60 which is fine for a dinner out Overall a good experience at Perabell & will be back for sure.

SUMMER SLAM TOURNAMENT
I would love to give PeraBell the full 5 stars it deserves but I cant...the only reason is because everytime I try to get a table on a Friday night or Saturday night they always tell me it is an hour plus or more wait!!! In the famous words of Yogi Berra.... "No one goes there anymore...Its too crowded." Thats the way my wife and I feel...we end up venturing to one of the other spots in Patchogue. The food is always enjoyable! I usually start off with the Iceberg Wedge salad. I can tell you that it is one of the very best that I have had! The blue cheese and the HUGE chunks of bacon are so good together...i dare you to find a better salad! If your in the mood for a GREAT burger you have to try the CHOPHOUSE BURGER. You will love it! I have had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and have loved that as well. I am making myself hungry...I will have to venture there ASAP!

Went to this restaurant yesterday with great anticipation after eating at the Patchogue location several times. Had a brick oven pizza as an appetizer, which was good. We wanted something light so my husband and I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was dry and like pieces of leather. This was one of the worst salads Ive ever had out. The service was not good, and the server came over after we gave up on trying to eat this. I told her it was terrible and the chicken was dry. We did not want to take it home. Her comment " I know everyone complains about the grilled chicken". No offer to take it off the bill or replace with something else. They lost a customer and I told at least 5 people today not to waste their money eating here.

We had reservations for after theatre, and were promptly seated. Tables are on top of each other. $14.00 for vodka and cranberry juice! Really?!? Very nice service and server; no problem there. Entrees were very good; steak for my husband, fish for me. I ordered key lime cheesecake for dessert, which was a round cupcake sized something. Hint of key lime; surely not cheesecake as we know it. Dry and tasteless. This also was outrageously priced. If we ever return, itll be no booze or dessert. Think well try the Irish pub down the block next theatre day.

Over rated and over priced...Shrimp and Spaghetti had my families mouths on fire yet nowhere did it mention it was spicy and it shouldnt have been with the ingredients listed on the menu. The chicken tasted like rubber on both the chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. French fries were cooked to the point that they shattered in your hand. This place basically serves BAR FOOD and has no right charging the ridiculous prices they do...New name "Perabell BAR FOOD" not Food Bar...

I have been here numerous times and every time I have left completely satisfied. Their menu offers food options for everyone! and they always have a good number of specials to cover everyones preferences. All the soups I have tried have been a great starter, not usually a soup person, but never went wrong here. Also the pasta plates are great especially the butternut squash ravioli. This dish offers a unique flavor that I am dying to go back to go back to try!!

I popped in for lunch, look at the menu, and order soup and the BLT sandwich. Waitress comes back shortly with my soup and tells me that she accidentally showed me the wrong menu and that the BLT is not presently on the menu they are currently serving. So I now get the full menu and pick some chicken sandwich. I get it and three of the four main ingredients are...bacon...lettuce...and tomato! Why couldnt they just give me what the hell I wanted in the first place?

I cant say enough good things about this place. Excellent food (best in 25+ miles Id say). Solid service (of course there are a few bad servers now and then, but on the whole its good). A bit loud at times (its a lively joint). But Ive never once been sorry to be heading into this place, and I walk out satisfied every time. One of my absolute favorite eateries. Dont hesitate.

This was a great unexpected find after my friend and I found our original place was closed. Fortunately they had 1 table outside, were seated in 3min on a Sunday. Ordered wings, hummus and pita, and chorizo and corn hash browns. All presented well and very delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. We would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Every dish Ive had at Perabell has been very good but I wish the menu was a little more expansive. This is one of the few restaurants Ive ever been to where I feel the menu is slightly limited. As I mentioned, the food has always been great and they also have a good beer selection. Try their burger!

Dont know why people are giving this place 4 or 5 stars this place is terrible and so was the service.I asked for fries and what I got looked like the Frenchs onions that you buy in a can that you put in your salad.i didnt want to go to this place to begin with I was dragged there.

The dining room was closed this afternoon for a private party so I ate at the bar with a friend. Our bartender, Athena, was pleasant and attentive. The food was good and the portions were sizeable. It was nothing to write home about. I might try it again for Happy hour.
