HORRID....!!!!! Was there for the $55 prix fixe Thanksgiving meal. Totally appalled; served cold to lukewarm food...shocked the staff can serve such crappy food with a straight face. Soup was disgustingly thin...watered down with very little flavor...COLD...!! Ham was nothing more than sliced deli cold cuts...bought ham home for the dogs; they liked it. ALL root vegetables were dried out probably from reheating too many times. Did I mention the food was COLD. Most prix fixe dinners have coffee or tea included; no coffee or tea...WTH...probably would have been served COLD, too.... My bro-in-law left before even finishing his soup.... WHAT A FREAKIN JOKE....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN...FOOD WAS COLD...!!! The downstairs doors were blocked by 2 large wine ice buckets. This is a fire violation. The kitchen was at the top of the stairs, if a fire broke out, this door would be the escape route as people would not run up the stairs towards the fire...DUH. Ironically, a fire at my mothers apt. complex is the reason why we were forced to dine out. The dinner plates were greasy, dirty, noticed initially by my mother. My sister has worked in the food industry...she said, "it is difficult to cook for the masses but for the food to be served cold there is NO excuse." There is no excuse for the food to be as lousy as it was, either...the quality was bad as for the cooking. Damn, you only had to prepare these dishes....wasnt like other food was going to be ordered....same stuff. I was told you served food that was left over from other tables. This is a health violation. My sister said the wine was good.

We were seated very quickly in middle of the dining room . There was confusion who was responsible for our table and nobody came to the table for 20 minutes. Waiter tried to make amends by offering a glass of wine. Food took very long time to prepare and once delivered the ravioli arrived cold. Obviously the steak took a long time to cook and the ravioli was cooked first and allowed to cool . The waiter stopped by only at end of meal and noticed we were without steak knife . He promised one only to take the next 10 minutes chatting with another table . The knife never arrived . The restaurant was half empty at the time so there was no excuse that staff were busy , well maybe busy chatting but not attending the the patrons. To see this level of service for an expensive restaurant was sad. Beside food arriving cold portion sizes were small and meat was at best average quality. Only when we left without paying a tip did ask if there was a problem, they did offer if they could do something but at that point dinner was ruined.

My dining experience at 121 was divine. I was first enticed by their diverse beer selection which included some fine craft beers. I had gotten the soft shell crab for an appetizer. It was fried and sautéed in a delicious sauce with a touch of spice. My girlfriend had gotten the veal meatballs with 121s homemade ricotta and polenta. Being made from veal opposed to beef, they packed immense flavor and were very tender. I had gotten the sesame crusted tuna which was served on top of the most flavorful sauce that I had ever tasted. In fact, after I had mopped my plate clear I went ahead and dipped some of my girlfriends chicken in it. For dessert we had gotten the Creme Brule with a scoop of SoCo butterscotch ice cream, a cappuccino, and a glass of Ameretto, the perfect compliment to a wonderful meal. The cappuccino was made perfect, as I have been to some restaurants that occasionally burn theirs. We left 121 feeling full but not stuffed. I loved everything about this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I have no idea why this resturant is so highly rated.Seated in the bar area where there was a table of 8 woman who were out of controll, when i asked the server why doesnt the management ask those ladies to control themselves, his answer was" hard to rain on there parade" my response, "but they are raining on our parade" a shrug of shoulders & off he went! Warm goat-beet salade(cold),cold bread served mid way though hourderves, main course, incrusted tuna over bok choy, which is quite $$ so very hard to find & as far as the tuna 7 small medalians. All this for exorbitant price. No specials"adjusting the menue" what ever that means? When the Gold Cup comes to town good luck to all.

We have been regulars at the restaurant for almost a year now and have seen the quality of the food and service slip. When the new menu rolled out some of the dishes were not good (baked penne pasta with meatballs) were good (chicken sliders) but have changed over the past few times we have been there. The size of the portion has decreased and the bread is different almost each time we have had it. We will continue to go to the restaurant but hope it will get back to where it was when we first found it. On our last visit the walls in the main dining room were covered with food splatter. For the price you pay the cleanliness should be to a higher standard.

6/7/14 1st time back with new menu/renovation. This is a nice spot but food was better before. Apps and starters yummy but small and pricey. For example, $9 for a piece of toast with goat cheese/onion spread. (Ramp toast). Entree of Duck was good but arrived cold. Seafood Potage was ok but consisted of 3 shrimp,3 clams, and some small chunks of Snapper, and one piece of squid in a rather bland broth. Came with one piece toast. No bread on table, ever. Wait staff was eager but disjointed. Never bringing 2nd glass of wine. Saturday 8:30pm and not crowded. You will leave hungry or spend $60/person for food. Not going back anytime soon.

We went with two other couples and had a nice meal in a very pleasant setting. My only complaint was that, as a group of only 6, the waiter included a 20% gratuity, and tipped himself on both the tax and liquor. The service was fine but nothing special and the food and drinks are already priced on the high side so I found it somewhat objectionable that we were expected to give such a generous tip for average service. As I said, the food was fine, but forcing a group of six to pay a 20% gratuity including tax and alcohol, left a bad taste.

We ate at 121 on Sat night...just two of us. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was very good. Ordered wine by the class and the Bordeaux was excellent. I had the Brussels sprout salad and my husband the autumn toast. Both were EXCELLENT! Main course for me was the short ribs, which were extremely tender! Desert was a deconstructed carrot cake and I would heartily recommend!

Delicious food and attentive staff! Great beer selection! Terry the bartender is the best bartender Ive ever met, and Ive met a few ;-) The happy hour menu is very inexpensive. One of a few good places in Northern Westchester. They have a few vegetarian options.

Always great! Been a patron for what seems like forever. Only warning is that in the evening (weekends)- this place can get extremely crowded and loud. The waitstaff has their hands full at its peak hours yet still maintain professionalism.
