Everything is great, Security is terrible. Threw my friend out, WHILE HE WAS PEEING IN THE BATHROOM FOR NO REASON. Not a word or explanation. just grabbed him with his junk out, and just threw him out. Maybe the bouncers like to jump at the male anatomy first chance they get. He has contusions so expect a law suit :)

After living in rvc for 6 years, I finally found my home. I refer to dark horse as my local now, a throw back to my family in London town whom I frequently visit. Rachel the daytime bartender is magnificent and somehow always remembers everyone. When youre ready for a pint Ill see you there.

This is always a go to place for me. Some bars come and go in rvc but this one has stood the test of time. Their own beer "dark horse lager" is my personal favorite. I recommend this place whether you are looking for Friday night excitement or just looking to catch a drink on a weeknight.

Small and quiet, but thats how I like my taverns. Lots of tvs and they spread out whats on each one (I hate when a place has 10 tvs but 8 have the same game). Ive never had the same server twice, but every server I have had has been friendly and good.

They hire security to scam at the door, i saw a couple go in free but when i try to get in he told me to give him a tip, then i can get in. I use to go all the time to this bar but now they hire this type of security. Never again

No gastropub/beer garden/pretentiously named bull here. Just damn good beer and food. My go to bar anytime Im in the area, which is always. Dark Horse Lager is far and away my favorite local beer.
