Tonight we tried something different and called Sketties. We have never eaten there before but the menu looked good so take out it was. We live just across the bridge in Ocean City and figured the quick drive would be an easy substitute for our regular stop just down the street at Randazzos on 34th Street right here in Ocean City. The initial call to Sketties was a bit concerning as they had us on hold for a good 5 minutes. We ordered our take out anyway and when it was time we picked it up. Now understanding that we have 5 kids and two adults this was no small order. I drove and my wife went in to get the order. A few minutes later she cam out with a huge box, well prepared cold and hot items separated perfectly. When she cam out she stated that the chef herself actually brought the food out and went over everything regarding the order. The chef also included all the condiments as well as a few extra goodies to boot. In other words the order was just not filled it was filled with accuracy and care!!! When we arrived home we unpacked the order and everybody anxiously grabbed their dish. We had Raviolis and Meatballs, Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, Fettuccine Alfredo, Bracioli and a few desserts that were an unexpected surprise. We all shared a little bit on each others plates and there were nothing but smiles on all of our faces. For these reasons we all thought that Sketties deserved a 5 Star rating this evening and kudos to the chef for taking the time to prpepare the order herself and truly care that we, the customer actually enjoyed their meal from Sketties.... All the best from The Fox Family

Very Misleading Name. Not anything like "a kids all you can eat spaghetti place". Extremely helpful & Knowledgeable staff ( TY Jeff for recommendations) Plenty of Food Choices, 3 Soups ( Great Lobster Bisque Bowl $7) 4 Varieties of Salad our favorite was Incredible House salad with Italian Meat, Olives & More .Try and reserve a table in the back bar room. This is the only room with surround windows and scenic views to the AC through OC Barrier Islands. I still wouldnt pass on food if not possible. Good Selection of Italian themed Appetizers. Mussels, Calamari ($8) Brushetta ect ( Great Meatball appetizer $8). Entrees that are typically served with Spaghetti sauce have an open style where you can change it to one of their 7 different sauces, great touch to the meal. Simple building but upgraded look with Linens and nicer table settings. Manager personally followed up on tables. Saturday Night offered live Music. Food tasted great, better than typical Franchise restaurants and almost 80 percent of surrounding places to eat. Fairly priced for the area , compared to Boardwalk and OC Restaurants. Acceptable wait for food , but in season we heard difficult to get in w/out a reservation. Just over 34th St bridge so easy return to south end of Island. Serves Mixed Drinks Wine and Beer. 2 Adults 16-9 year olds ( 3 kids) left all very satisfied and wanting to return.

Our large group was seated right away and our waitress, Mary Beth, was pleasant. But despite being a slow evening in the restaurant the overall service was slow. There were plenty of wait staff available but water glasses were filled once and only again when we asked. Wine was poured for tasting, glasses were filled for other guests but not the taster. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. (We all agreed the next time we would just order them.) The main entrees were "okay"...some too spicey, others bland. Portions were much too large to be enjoyed in one sitting and more than two thirds of our group chose not to take home the balance. Hostesses on our way out seemed more interested in texting than then they were to offer us a good evening. For some, this was our second time visiting Sketties; unfortunately perhaps our last as well.

This is my second trip to Obadiahs and it has failed to deliver once again. Shame on me for even giving it a second chance, but the reviews on Google lead me to believe otherwise. I ate here last year and thought it stunk. Looked at the reviews this year and thought maybe I had a bad meal, so I tried it again. Shocking to find out that the food was even worse than last year. The salmon was gross, the lamb chop special was an awful combination of flavors, and even the chicken fingers were inedible. I think everyone at the table (all 11 of us) left something on their plate...including the kids. Not to mention the cost of the food. Jeez...what a ripoff!! DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE!! IT IS HORRIBLE FOOD!!! People, please get some taste buds and find yourself a good restaurant.

The restaurant was freezing and the temp was around 70 outside. Lobster bisque was okay; liked the corn bread they brought out before the meal. My sandwich was the battered fish, fried onions, tomatoes & cheese on a soft roll. The "fried" onions were raw/grilled onions, and the roll was stale. The fish was mediocre and the tomatoes were soggy which made the fish soggy. The fries were hot when I got them but by the time I ate them, they were so cold, I couldnt choke them down. My husband had the stuffed scallops and they were edible but hardly worth the price. My sister had the lobster roll sandwich without the bread and said it was okay. For 3 people who had soup, 2 had sandwiches, and 1 and entree to cost $80 was outrageous. Live and learn.

Three people in our party ordered Lobster Bisque soup -- All three came out cold. The New York strip steak that was recommended by the waiter was unable to be cut due to the amount of fat and grissle in the steak. I sent it back - the chef acknowledged it was a tough piece of meat and not cooked correctly -- YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IT BEFORE YOU SENT IT OUT YOU MEATHEAD!!! This is the second straight time Ive gone in there where the food has been pathetic. The portion sizes have also diminished in size. DEFINITELY CHARGING TOP DOLLAR FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD!!!!

The service was friendly, but that is about the only thing positive I can say. The crab dip should have been named "cheese dip" as that is all I tasted. The lobster bisque was the highlight - as the flavor was good - but I am pretty sure the meat in it was that fake crab meat blend - whatever it was, it was flavorless. Thier crabcakes "looked" good - but were also devoid of flavor. Finally, I could not detect even a hint of Old Bay in their homemade "Old Bay Chips." Overall - a very disappointing experience which we will not repeat.

Service was terrible, food was ok, but way over priced. We will not be going back. Granted its a summer tourist place atleast try and provide some type of training for your summer staff. The service was the worst part. I ordered the salmon and paid $28 for something that I could have made at home on the grill for around $4. The waiter wouldnt let me substitute the side and insisted it only comes with rice, I said fine, and it came out with small potatoes instead of the rice.

We have eaten here numerous times and have enjoyed our meals. We do try different things. Love to sit at the high top tables in the back room. There is a beautiful view of the bay area. Employees are extremely friendly and very informative about the meals. . We are locals that enjoy good food and friendly service. And the manager Wes takes the time to stop by each table to introduce himself and ask how your meal is. He is always open for suggestions. Try Sketties out.
