Ill try to keep this brief. Went in here on a Friday night. No tables available. Sat at bar, ordered drinks. 5 minutes - table opens up (no drinks yet). Go over to table with our waitress as another waitress is sitting people at the table. Ask for open table by window.. got table in middle of room. Guacamole might as well be green tomato sauce, they throw so many tomatoes in there its pitiful.. Bartender asks how we want our drinks.. "In a shot glass?" NO. Who drinks a mixed drink out of a shot glass? They bring drinks out in old-fashioned glasses, no ice, with about 2 ounces of liquid in them. Are they kidding? This is at least an 8 ounce glass, and its 3/4 empty. $9 for that drink -- better be Johnny Walker Blue. No steak in the steak quesadilla. No presentation on ANYTHING. Shrimp Burrito.. must have had 4 cocktail shrimp in the whole thing, DICED. Getting annoyed just thinking about this place. It has been YEARS since Ive walked out of a restaurant without leaving a tip.. but I had no choice here, the service was terrible and I left them nothing. Will not be going back. There was another dish we ordered, dont remember what it was.. and Im sure it was just as forgettable as this dining establishment. Oh, and they aint reasonably priced either.. I wasted $50 on their slop.

My family decided to stop here on our way home from visiting family members since this restaurant had good reviews. My childs "quesodilla," if you could call it that, had greasy cheese oozing out. Two of the three tacos my husband ordered lacked flavor and the meal I ordered was completely flavorless. I ordered a side of guacamole and what I received was a watery green sauce that was incredibly spicy (and had the only flavor out of our entire meal.) Our waitress never once checked on us and my husband actually got up and went to the bar to pay the bill. Overall the experience, just like the food, was incredibly bland and lacking.

I guess they listen to reviews. Being that I am from the border region I expect street tacos to be full of flavor and lightly crisp. It was exactly that. At first when they opened it was not that good but they have made great improvements on there drinks and food. Yessenia was great she has a great attitude and super sweet. My family and I were very pleased. Ask for her she would appreciate it and you will appreciate her conversation. My kids liked her.

Honestly if u are looking for "authentic" this is not the place to go. The "gringos" obviously dont know better. My Mexican fiancé and I were so disappointed. Shrimp cocktail was all orange soda, not real avocados in the guacamole, chipotle means one chile on the side apparently. Asada wasnt chargrilled, it was flat grilled. The price reflects the value. Servers were on their cells didnt bring chips til we asked etc.

I usually order this to go sometimes for lunch. Tres Quesos Torta: American cheese, mozzarella cheese, quesillo cheese with refried beans, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and jalapeños served on a roll. add French Fries. Delicious sandwich, sometimes there is carrot which isnt mentioned. The french fries are nice and crispy, highly recommend adding this to your order.

Great place! Relaxed atmosphere. My friends and I frequent this place often and we are never disappointed! The food is always fresh, vibrant and home made! So affordable it doesnt pay to cook! I can eat their fresh tacos every day or their chicken fajita salad, both are my go to dishes when I cant decide on all their other delicious options.

Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices. This place is practically the Monroe communal dining room. We love the enchiladas, burritos, tacos and fajitas. If you are getting a margarita, pay a little extra for the Top Shelf version. Its worth it.

Great food served in traditional Mexican presentation. Very fast service. Very friendly wait staff. Wide variety of food made to order. The salsa is excellent as is the "green sauce". The chimichanga is is my personal favorite dinner dish, but the nothing beats the pork torta for lunch.

The food is excellent! My close friend is TexMex and very selective about the food of her culture and she gives Tulcingo two thumbs up. Also I might add that the owners and the staff are very kind and courteous. It just doesnt get better than this. Enjoy!

A nice selection of Mexican fare, full bar as well. Salsa and guacamole were tasty and plentiful, margaritas were good sized. Service was attentive, we had a good meal and enjoyed our visit!
