I worked here for a few days, and I have to say that this place is very corrupt and the owner is a dick. He expects you to know everything when he hasnt even trained you or taught you anything beforehand, so I was naturally confused during my time there. The business is ran terribly. The employees are quite frankly abused.... especially the prep guy. Let me tell you something. This Deli would be closed if the prep guy wasnt there... and hes not even the boss/owner. Hes been working with the family that runs the business for a very long time and they take complete advantage of him. This man is extremely talented, and hes the SOLE reason why the food is so good. His pay is laughable for the amount of work he does, and he works there from open to close every single day. I was paid four dollars an hour during my time there while everyone else was paid higher, and I did just as much work as they did but more!!! The way the owner has his employees set up is also very bizarre, unprofessional, and completely backwards. Theres only one guy in the back while everyone else is upfront and its just all over the place because NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES HAVE A SPECIFIC JOB!!! He makes them do whatever he wants because 1. Hes cheap and doesnt want to hire more people (the place wouldnt be upside down like it is now) and 2. HES REALLY CHEAP. Such a terrible place that just tries masking its true colors. So despicable. As much as I love the prep guy, I have boycotted this place since I walked out because I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for the owner. He treated me like crap and he treats all of his employees like crap. Thats all I have to say.

This deli features a great selection of specialty items. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome and for lunch I would recommend the chicken salad. They will deliver (not sure of the minimum) or you can fax in your order. It is so great to have a well run deli in the neighborhood.
