well I wanted to give this place a chance since I heard a few good things about it... first off its labeled "brick oven" now heres what gets me, YES there is a brick oven on premises, NO I did not see one pizza go in or come out of the thing let alone a flame in it.. It was late and I was fairly tired though and not paying much attention. the oven where MY pizza came from was defiantly shiny metal. although it is covered in some tile that looks like it came from a bathroom floor, I didnt see any brick near, in or around that thing. the staff here pretty much ignored us when we walked through the door and actually took the order of the guy behind us first! there was like 5-6 guys behind the counter and they were all just standing there talking amongst themselves! now on to the pizza. not that bad, but not as good as I have heard. the crust tasted like I was eating a cracker, and the sauce was like paste. the cheese was good though and they use alot! it was busy, loud and noisy and I couldnt wait to leave! before leaving I used the mens room, and when I walked in the toilet paper rack was broken/laying on the floor. its smelled like pee, the floor was covered yellow! oh and I had to wipe my wet hands on my shirt after I washed them because there were no paper towel! as I was walking out I told one of the young guys who work there that they should get someone to clean the restroom up, and he just laughed about it..... nice!

Horrible experience. Ill start with that. My GF and I never ate here, but heard good things so wanted to try it out. We decided to dine in. We ordered fried calamari and stuffed clams for an appetizer. Both were "ok", nothing to write home about, but adequate. The real fun started with the entrees. She got pasta with bolognese sauce. I got the ravioli with marinara. Her meal was NOT bolognese: it was essentially ala vodka with small chunks of meat in it. My ravioli was spoiled. It literally tasted like vomit. I couldnt believe what I was tasting, so I asked my GF to taste it and she spit it out. The waitress apologized profusely, and they took it off my bill, so this is not about the service. But come on, really? Needless to say, well never go back. You get one shot.

Staff ignores you unless you are a regular. I feel that you should want to make your new customers feel Just as welcome . My first experience was me walking in after ordering a pie 20 mins before and waited as people ( regulars ) walked in and ordered and got their pie before me ... ended up waiting almost 45 mins ... (no good ). My second experience was that my slices ( to go )even though heated up were warm at best with no flavor ( speciality slices ) . I was really hoping for better , Since I just moved to the area and the reviews were good .

This is some of the best Italian food you will ever eat. Couple that with the friendly service and comfortable dinning room and you have an experience thats hard to beat. If you order a Margherita pie, they cook it in their brick oven. The brick oven pizza is light and tasty with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. If youre looking for a great dinning experience with great food at a reasonable price, give the La Margherita Pizzeria a try. You wont be disappointed. It will bring a :) to your face.

We are now regular customers at this establishment!! We frequent La Margherita restaurant for dinner in their back room!! I have never had a meal that was not delicious! A big fan of all seafood on the menu with Calamari Fra Diavlo as a personal favorite!!! The atmosphere is warm and friendly and Joe is sure to come out and introduce himself!!!! Alone or with the children its great. Of course their Pizza is terrific, if you want an affordable and satisfying meal this is the place!!

Yes really, this soup is fantastic. One can say that it has special properties, mmmmm mmmmm. My advice, try it if you can. Pizza are pretty good, my 2 fav are the seafood and the 4 seasons. Pasta dishes are average actually a bit better than average (less oily that the other places). Service is great.

Some of the best pizza around My favorite pizza is the chicken franchise slice. I dont think I spelled that right but you know what I mean. They make great food here. Always fresh and the staff is funny after you get to know them all. Here every week with my team from work. Best hands down

I used to love this place. They have good specialty slices and deep dish pizza. The last time I went there, it wasnt very clean, and the guy behind the counter seemed tired or grumpy, and inattentive. It wasnt busy, but he asked me if my order was "to go" or "to stay" 3x.

Excellent restaurant, pizza is excellent as well - some of the best specialty slices around If you are looking for great italian food in the medford area, its hard to beat La Magherita or their other location, Tonys - which has excellent pizza

My family has been going there since they opened, when they were a little tiny pizza parlor. Its very simple; if they make, its good-Very good. Hey! Come On, they make their own mozzarella. Bravo.

I have only tried their pizza and chicken Caesar salad but wasnt a fan of either. Try Tonys instead. I believe they are both under the same ownership but Tonys is much better in my opinion.

Have gotten specialty pies there multiple times; everything about the pie was great. Crust is a perfect mix between chewy and crunchy. Ask for the pie to be well done, its worth it.

The pizza was delicious. Everything was fresh. I had the Capricciosa. $13 for a 12" pie. You get what you pay for. The service was great. Id definitely come back to this place.
