Great fine dining where it has always been easy to get a table. Ive been on many occasions and dont think Ive ever had a bad meal here. The food is well thought out and prepared with flavors that blend well together while still highlighting individual ingredients. The portions seem just right. At the request of someone I dined with we once ordered something I would never order and didnt expect much from and it turned out to be delicious thanks to the above. Some of the menu items seem to be regular items while others change up from time to time. The desserts could be stronger IMO, maybe time to try some new recipes in that area. This doesnt necessarily take away from the overall experience and does not stop me from coming back time and again, but I would like to see this area improve.

Let me just say this: If you visit Simsbury, or just live there, if you dont go the the Bis for a meal, you are missing out on one of your best dining experiences of your life. Seriously. The owner, Courtney Avriello? (not sure of last name), was there making sure everything was perfect. And if they have the bread pudding, and you like dessert, you will love this one. I didnt know what to expect because I had heard nothing about it, and was staying the the Simsbury 1820 House, in which Metro Bis is situated, so I thought Id try it, and I was amazed. Six stars.

Perhaps the best food and certainly the best service in the Simsbury area and beyond. Chef Chris Prosperi is fantastic. The ambiance on the porch on a pleasant evening is unmatched anywhere in the area. Highly recommend Metro Bis.

Amazing food , best Ive had, Chris is great, the wait staff wonderful. Delicious appetizers, Had the duck it was out of this world, she had the steak, yum!!!!, creme brulee was heavenly. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening!
