I cant say enough good things about this coffee shop! It is without a doubt the best coffee shop in Southern/Central CT, such a vast improvement over the holy-than-thou attitudes at Starbucks and Greenwich Coffee. Wonderful beverage selection, including all kinds of coffee drinks, as well as dairy and fruit smoothies and my favorite, bubble teas. We chose to go here because of the free wi-fi, which is wonderful, and it even works outdoors. There is ample seating without feeling crowded indoors, but I just love outdoor patio seating! The shop is conveniently situated on Cheshires main road, Rt. 10, but because the entrance and patio is at the back of the building, you dont even notice! I HATE the tiny outdoors area at Greenwich Coffee, right at an incredibly noisy intersection. Instead at Cheshire Coffee, theres a huge array of foliage and that lovely New England greenery! Well definitely be back!!

The coffee is good but if you go in anytime after 8:30 p.m. the workers will give you dirty looks the entire time youre ordering / while they are making your beverage and when they hand it to you. The business doesnt close until 9 p.m. but they want to be cleaned up and walking out of the door at 9 p.m. and thats just not how it works. I always feel like if its past 8:30 I shouldnt go there because all they do is shoot you looks because you messed up their cleaning process by ordering a drink. Sorry but the sign on the door says 9 p.m., you cant lock the doors at 8:50.

from a coffee snob (owner of a conical burr grinder, french press and pump espresso machine and i rotate blends at least weekly) this is surely among the best coffee in town for the drink. clean atmosphere -yay- but it feels a little cave-like if you can grab a table in back (a fave of cheshire academy students for wifi). overall this place destroys all others in town except for The Funky Monkey which maintains a slight edge over them all thanks to better atmosphere. if u just want to go somewhere busy but not as good try main street caffe in town.

Cheshire Coffee is by far the best coffee shop/unique-but-not-too-far-off-the-beaten-path place you can go to in the Waterbury area! It has delicious food, drinks, and specialties that top everywhere else. Though it can be a bit pricey, things are usually beautiful to look at and yummy to taste. I go here almost every weekend, sometimes more than once, to get my coffee fix. This place is awesome! Definitely recommend the Frosted Mint Mocha Iced Latte or Frappe, and the Chicken Ciabatta sandwich if youre hungry!!

Excellent coffee brewed from their own micro-roasted beans. Also tea, smoothies, and bubble tea. Very good selection of homemade baked goods and sandwiches made fresh daily. Friendly staff. Excellent service. Fair prices. Very popular with the locals, this is an excellent destination for city dwellers on a Sunday drive or a long bike ride. In warm months you can sit outside and enjoy a view of the hills beyond. Particularly beautiful in the fall.

The coffee is really good. The food (sandwiches, wraps and "croissantwiches") is fresh, the staff are friendly, even if you are not a "regular." Nice mix of small tables and deep leather chairs; outside umbrella tables away from the road. One caveat: inside the shop, the floors are wood and very little deadens voices, making conversations not private and hard to hear. Nice place. I recommend.

I was so excited and surprised to find bubble tea on their menu. The excitement was short lived. I was given room temperature sugar milk that tasted nothing like matcha. The worst part was the tapioca pearls, which I had to pay extra for. They were boiled to the point that the bottom of the cup was dense black sludge, making it difficult to drink.

Amazing coffee with unique flavors that youd never find at a big chain like Starbucks. And the sandwiches... epic. Try the Applewood Smoked Bacon, Egg and Gouda sandwich. Ive had it three days in a row now! The atmosphere there is nice and relaxed too. Its a great place to open up your laptop and work for a few hours.

This is by far my favorite coffee house! They offer a grand array of beverages and a good selection of sandwiches, wraps and small pastries. They have a lovely patio section outdoors and they have great, reliable wifi. However, the staff really outshines all this, with great service and true kindness. I love it here!

The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is very warm and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated. There is a large menu of beverages and sandwiches. I recommend visiting their website to get an idea of what kind products they offer. They also have some delicious bakery items and teas.

The environment is great, but the barista was absolutely rude! She was incredibly short with us when placing the order. Then, she was draging chairs across the floor and disturbing all the clients. It was my first time visiting this place and it will definitely be my last

Great lunch spot. Clean, friendly service, good atmosphere. Had the chicken caesar wrap. Fresh as can be, healthy, and tasted great. This will be my lunch spot in Cheshire going forward. I believe free wi-fi too, I just didnt bring in my laptop.

Nice place, coffee was pretty good. I found that the pastry we had was stale. I had the crumb cake it it was difficult to cut with a fork. It was pretty hard. Biscotti was ok but the cheese roll was also stale. It does have a nice atmosphere.

A quick stop in to grab a coffee before the bus comes through is just what I need in the AM. The food is delightful and with free WiFi its a great little place to stop and get some work done too.

Great service, excellent coffee and yummy pastry. I left a sweater there by mistake and they held on to it and were very pleasant when I called for it days later. I highly recommend this place.

1st the food was a backed egg pre-made sandwich in the cooler. 2nd the atmosphere, sizes and names of drink not to mentionthe whole space in general showed littlecharacter

I really like the ambiance and the overall vibe of the shop. I got an oatmeal cookie and a macchiato both were great! although I wish the prices were a bit lower!

I really love the people and the place, but I wish they would change up their food fare. The sandwiches arent that good, and theyre always the same ones.

All of their drinks are incredible, the only downside is the price, you might spend 6 dollars on one drink
