I moved to New England about 8 months ago from California. There are quite a few really good Thai restaraunts I would go to often. After moving out here - I could not find a good Thai or even Chinese restaurant that compaired to the ones back home. I went to Green Tea about a week ago and I can honestly say the food was better than ANY Thai restaurant I have ever been to. I got the drunken noodles and some beef and green onion appetizer that was VERY GOOD!!! The best drunken noodles I had ever tried. The place was clean, manager (owner?) extremely friendly. I came at an odd hour and was the only one in there at the time, but they treated me as though I was a regular. I loved it. I will be going back!

We have gone here many times and have always enjoyed the food but the waitstaff not so much.. There is one waiter that is down right rude to us EVERY TIME !! Tonight was no exception he was ruder than ever and made us feel like we were putting him out every time we asked for something. When we asked for some sauce for our bone dry "Chicken with Garlic Sauce" (thats usually abundant with sauce) he told us "the kitchen was too busy" and we were the only ones in the restaurant ! I mentioned it to the woman that worked there as we were leaving and she said "oh he had a bad day today"..Maybe its time for him to get a new profession because obviously being a waiter is not his cup of tea, no pun intended.

Call for reservations. Place is packed but with reservations they get you right in. The parking lot is small but you can park either next door or across the street. My one criticism is that the server rushed us in and tried to get us out, which by the looks of how quickly the tables turned is standard here. There is great selection on the menu with options for those who have food allergies. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was new and clean.

Second time here. Sat at the bar for happy hour both times. They have happy hour specials (food and drink) 7 days a week 3-6. Food is great. We love the crab rangoons. The bao buns are quite tasty. The chicken wings were a big surprise - crispy (nice crunch when you bite into them) and juicy! So good I didnt even use the dipping sauce. The white wine sangria was good, and the Moscow mule was the best I have had in the area.

Cannot give any more than completely average reviews. Food is unexceptional, and no specialty dishes or preparations stand out whatsoever. Decor is tired, cliche, and frankly dark and uninviting. Noise from the bar (nearly empty, but sports games on the televisions blare to a vacant room) is obtrusive. If not for the low cost appeal to less discerning patrons, I wouldnt see this place stay open.

This place is amazing, truly. The food is excellent and boasts unique dishes not found on other Chinese restaurant menus. Immaculate dining area, and great staff. All around, my favorite Chinese restaurant OF ALL TIME. If you get a chance, I suggest trying it out. Heres a hint, order the "Gran Manieur Shrimp" youre sure to love it.

Its an okay place for Chinese food. They have a big dining room but most people just get take out. Part of the dining room is not heated, or at least wasnt the last time I went. The wait staff can be a bit surly. The lunch specials are pretty good and reasonably priced.

Even though we live in east Granby, we always get Chinese and Thai at green tea because the food is so good. We r vegetarians and everything we order is the best. Dont miss the general Tso tofu, drunken noodle, vegetable dumplings, and Thai curries

not one of...but THE best green curry I have had in CT and maybe ever. Very flavorful. A good mix of sushi and Thai food as well as some unique twists to fusion. Great sake and beer selection. Must try fire cracker appetizer if you like sushi.
