We were at your restaurant tonight with two other couples. The service and food was excellent! We ordered many entrees and each one of them were delicious. We appreciate your Chefs culinary skills and how each dish was unique and had something special about it. The only dish that I did not enjoy was the vegetable dish, the cauliflower was burnt. Some of it was roasted but most of it was burnt. We wil be back with other friends soon! Keep up the good work!

Embers is a stylized, hip eatery and bar. The menu is unique and creative. It has some American fair as well as specialized dishes. There are some vegetarian choices. Everything was fresh and tasty. Served family style. I went with a group and it was hard to hear at the table. I think a group of four would be prime. Its also a great couples place. They do have a bar and a gathering place out back which works for group socializing. There is free parking.

If I could give it no stars would. First off parking is a joke. 2nd the services is awful. I sat for an hour at the bar never being asked if I wanted my EMPTY GLASS filled. And third the food was flavorless. My steak was medium rare and didnt have a touch of pink in the center. I returned the steak and some fat hostess comes over and tells me its going to be a half hour because there are a lot of meals that need to go out in front of mine.

Its like theyre TRYING to be fine dining, but miss the mark completely. Mixed aesthetic, limited menu that does not impress both in expectations and actual practice, disappointing servers, and the "family style" aspect is uncomfortable. NOTHING original or worth the experience. ONLY good thing was that it wasnt cramped at all; plenty of space to walk and sit without worrying about being in others way.

My wife and my favorite restaurant in the entire Rochester region and we have tried just about everywhere. An upscale/comfortable restaurant with unique menu options that is always updated, we have never had a bad dish. Great staff. A "must go" for anyone who call Rochester their city, its a small drive for a perfect date night, group celebration, or happy hour/food at the bar after golf.

The tuna is by far amazing. Everything is usually very good, however, we ordered a new salad that had carrots in it...and it was AMAZING, however, it was a regular size resteraunt salad, NOT your normal porportions...for 15 bucks...that was a RAW deal! If it is not the same as a normal salad you should state it on the menu. There wasnt even enough for the 2 of us to share!

We regularly drive over an hour to eat here. We have never had a bad experience, and have always been pleased with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. I cant think of a single dish that has ever left their kitchen that didnt impress me. Do yourself a favor. Try the Ahi Tuna, and request Shawn as your server. Both are excellent, and you will be glad you did!

While the food tasted ok...it was SEVERELY over priced and the review rating on this place must be from friends of the employees or owners! My wife and I had dinner with 2 beers each, and our tab was $77??!! They literally have a nearly plain $19 burger on the menu hahaha. Dont waste your money on this place unless the greedy owners lower their inflated prices!!!

Best place to eat ever. Totally worth the drive from Spencerport. Ask for JW (tell him J-Rod sent you) to be your waiter he will make you laugh all night. For the quality of food served you would expect a large bill but its always so low. Hope Ember doesnt read my post but they should probably charge more for this type of food.

Simply put: Ember is arguably the best restaurant in the Greater Rochester Area. Possibly Western New York. The food is perfection, the service is fast and friendly, I cant say enough. No, Im not overselling it. Theres a reason its ALWAYS crowded despite being located in the middle of nowhere. Please open more locations!

EWFG was recommended by friends. It was absolutely a well-deserved recommendation. Our food was creative with multi-faceted, layered flavors. Service was both prompt and attentive. Decor draws your eye to various elements. Staff is very friendly - and as I started to say, the food is wonderful, fresh, and fascinating.

We really love this spot and its totally worth the drive from the city. The spot is a little weird (an old train station or something) so the layout doesnt really flow, but the food and atmosphere puts it to the top of the best restaurants in rochester area. Everything weve ever gotten here has been fantastic

Ember is one of my favorite places! I have never been disapointed with food or service! I love going on Mondays as I can bring my own wine and not get charged a corking fee. I have always been more than happy and will continue to drive the 30-40 min to go there from Rochester!

Desent beer and wine selection. The tuna was good but the sauce, won dons and mac n cheese were store bought...far from farm to table. They have a corner in a small town and nothing else around to compete with is the only reason to give them anything better then a 3 star.

I would have never guessed that you could get this kind of food and service in such a small village. An old train station converted into fine dining with a full service bar. Parking is adequate, ambience and service is also excellent. A treasure in a small town.

Food was amazing! We didnt know what to expect since we arent from the area but we were especially pleased with the food options and our selections. We ordered the calamari salad and a chicken dish as well as creme brulee. The food was really fantastic!

Amazing small plates and caring staff. They have a seasonally changing menu. My only criticism is that they dont offer reservations 24x7 online. Make sure to make your reservations early. Very difficult to walk-in on the weekend.

Good staff! The menu options are very limited if you are the average person who wants simple dinner. The options are exciting, I keep wondering what Im going to get. This place is where I try new things. Awesome pizza!
