I went to mulberrys on August fifth this never uploaded so here it is now Im currently at mulberrys and they are swarmed. With that fact being respected Ive had two waitresses come and take care of my family so far. Theyve both been extremely rude. They dropped off drinks and bread and basically threw it on our table. Then she left while my dad was mid sentence to the waitress asking them if they could warm the bread. After calling attention to this and the fact that she had forgot our cup of ice for his drink she said that tonight was too busy for her to warm up our bread. I guess thats understandable however she couldve done it to make up for her mistakes as a kind gesture. She doesnt care about our table, hardly clears it or checks on us. Fast forward to the meal I received. "The kings agnolotti" which was 15 mini meat filled raviolis (the size of gnocchis) in a meat sauce that smelled like dog food all priced at $17. Despite the smell I had a couple bites and then promptly ran to the bathroom and threw up. My rest of the night was ruined, the waitress asked if she could get me anything else suggesting a salad and telling us shed take it off the bill. I politely declined not being able to stomach anything. She brought our bill to us and sure enough the 17 dollar dog food was still there on the receipt. I have to say Ive been here a couple times and I will not be back after this visit. It was horrible.

If youre from New York City and used to eating some of the very best Italian food in the world, you will be deeply disappointed by this place. The sauce tasted like it came out of a jar, and the noodles were not al dente and tasted like they came out of a box. The meatballs, which are made with pork, veal, and beef and which this place is supposedly famous for, were dismal. I couldnt even finish half of my dish. They tasted raw and uncooked. My g-f had the veal, and it was inedible. It tasted game-y and flavorless at the same time. She didnt eat more than one bite. Dont bother with this place if youre from a big city and know good Italian. Also, as a final note, the waitress was terribly rude. She clearly was upset that we didnt order more drinks and food; she was obviously grubbing for a bigger tip, but her attitude and the terrible food made us want to get out as quickly as possible. This restaurant is really doing a disservice to Mulberry St by being called "Mulberry."

Highly recommend calling for a reservation. We had to wait over an hour on a very busy saturday night. Our fault for not calling ahead but this was well worth the wait. Food was excellent and service was good also. I have a gluten allergy and it is tough finding italian restaurants that serve gluten free pasta let alone meatballs as well. One mention of the allergy to the server and she quickly identified all of thw menu items that were safe. After we ordered she came back out momentari to inform us that the chef said another item I ordered was not safe. We quickly substituted for another item. As I said the food was way beyond excellent and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The meatballs were some of the best I have ever had! If you are ever in the Buffalo NY area, give them a try!

We were in town from Dayton Ohio for the Bengals/Bills game on 10/13 and wanted to have a good dinner before the big game. Thank goodness we found this place because we could not have asked for a better experience. The wait was long but well worth it. The bartenders were hospitable to us even though we were wearing enemy colors. HA I worked in a high end Italian restaurant in Ohio and I am very picky about it seeing I was spoiled for 3 years. The Mulberry lived up to the hype indeed. Excellent service and food. The Joe Shaw Rigatoni that I dined on was outstanding, great sauce with a touch of hot peppers. One my friends had the legendary 7 layer lasagna which I sampled and it was everything and more. Again from the front of the house to the back this place was A+++

While the food was very good, the portions are much smaller than they used to be. At the end of our meal the waitress (not ours) dropped a container of Italian salad dressing, splattering it all over me. She saw, but never acknowledged what happened. After I complained that the stains probably wouldnt come out of my clothes, our waitress brought me a $20.00 gift cert. The waitress who did it never apologized, all she said was "things like that happen". Ill most likely give the gift cert away.

I ate here twice before and hadnt come back in years and was very excited to come back. The service was second rate and I paid roughly $15 for a hand full of pasta with red sauce. I know the menu item was spaghetti with meatball which I asked for no meatball and I dont expect to have the price changed but maybe give me a little more pasta to make up for the cost. Enough to at least fill me up. I guess Ill try again in a few more years and well see what happens.

Food good, drinks no good. The older bartender was washing glasses in the "dirty water", I know that because my wife and I sat at the end of the bar where we can see the 3 sinks and the middle sink had a funnel for the " spuge" that is the leftover ice/fruit from the return drinks of the consumer. The bartender would empty the "spuge" in the "rinse" sink and not the funnel. We did not drink anything. The 3 stars in cause of the food only.

Meatball is amazing. Order two off the appetizer menu and theyre served in red sauce. Each is baseball sized with a great texture. Try it with the cheese. For dinner I went with the bone-in ribeye, cooked medium with a side of fries. It was cooked excellent, pink in the middle with a fantastic crust and plenty of juice. Service was a tad brusque. Took too long for drink refills and she did a poor job anticipating our needs.

After watching the Triple D episode, I decided to try this place, and boy did I make a good decision. The meatball is literally the size of a baseball, and is super good. I even made it myself at home, and it tastes EXACTLY like the one in the restaurant. I was recently here in July. And it was not a bad meal! It was so delicious, all the flavors were crazy. The next time I go there, Ill challenge myself to eat the lasagna.

Came here for Valentines day. We made a very late reservation but were still able to reserve a table for an early (4:30 PM) dinner. Explained to the waitress that Im vegetarian and she gave me the rundown of the best veg dishes to get, she was great, and the food was splendid. Had a drink at the bar afterwards, and we were served quickly despite a pretty large bar crowd. The Valentines day decorations were cute as well.
