I went to dinner last night and I was in awe on how beautiful the place looked. I loved how the open kitchen and how I was able to see my food being prepared. The server was excellent he was very knowledgeable and was able to escribe every item n the dish being that Im alergic to certain things and was able to recomend an excelent wine to go wit my fod. I had escargot for an appetizer which was amazing. I come from the bronx and every time I come down to myrtle its hard to find good italian food. Thank god I came here cause this was the best italian food Ive had down here. I hate to say this but its even better than some of the places I go to in arthur ave. First thing I look for is if they make there own pasta. When the waiter said they do. when I got my paperdele pasta it was the freshest hand rolled pasta I ever had. The sauce was made just like my nonna used to make it and it brought back many memories of Sunday dinner at her house. My wife had the osso bucco it was divine the meat was so soft and fell right off the bone. I couldnt help but stare at all the dishes goin by us. The prices were reasonable especially for tyhe homeade quality of fod that was served. The best part of the night is was when the owner and his mother came to personally check and gret everyone to see if they liked the food. U could see they take pride andjoy of their products. The server was extremely friendly nand made it the perfect night on the town for us. The whole ride back to the hotel al we couldtalk about is how we finally have a great italian retsaurant in myrtle beach bein that we come here several times a year but we could still feel like we were at our favorite restaurant in the bronx. . I never write reviews but after one of the best meals I've ever had I felt like they deserved a review like this so that other new yorkers and people who live up north know where to go and not go to some of the other crappy italian joints on the beach.

(We ordered take-out from here a couple of months ago and I forgot to get my review in - SORRY!) We ordered two entrées and an appetizer, and when returning to the hotel with the order, realized that not only was the soup from one dinner missing, but the salad from the other was incorrect and we received it with the dressing on it (instead of on the side), which certainly would not have been deal breakers if everything else was good. Yes, the portions were HUGE and there was plenty of food, but one entrée was absolutely NOT as described on the menu, and HOLY MOLY everything was WAYYYYY over-garlicky! And not garlic in a GOOD way - I mean like raw, stinky, sharp-tasting garlic. I guess the odor in the restaurant should have been a dead give-away when I walked in - I could not imaging sitting in the dining room to eat. The dipping oil was basically cloves of raw garlic in olive oil, and the sauce was otherwise bland and tomatoey-acidic and loaded with garlic. Seriously, so much so that it was to the point of being inedible - and my boyfriend LOVES garlic! Since the order cost over $60, I called and they could not deliver a replacement order, and I could not get back there until the next day, so I tried to eat some of the b/fs entrée, but I could not get past the sauce of the first bite; I think HE ate about half of a piece of chicken before he gave in to the discomfort of the sauce. When I called, and again when I got there to pick it up, I asked for light garlic in the sauce (as each entrée is cooked to order). It was still extremely strong on the garlic flavor, so at that point I just gave up. They have an open kitchen - which is nice - and the place is clean, and the family that owns it is very, very nice. I guess if you are a garlic lover, this place is for you, but it is just not for us, as a matter of personal preference.

We went to Toscanas for our 1 year anniversary and we were just so very pleased with the service and the food. My wife got a chicken Gorgonzola dish, which was the best Italian dish either of us had ever tasted and I had the chicken parm, which was also very delicious. Our waitress, Melissa, was very sweet and took care of all our needs throughout the meal. The other waiter that was working, Bill, also went well out of his way to make sure we had a great first experience at their restaurant. I cant think of a better place to take your significant other if you are looking for a romantic night out. The place was so intimate and beautifully decorated as well. We will definitely return when we come back to Myrtle. Melissa, thank you so much for the great service! The top of the cake was surprisingly not as bad as we had expected and it still had some of its sweet taste left. Look forward to coming back to your restaurant very soon!! Thanks again for adding to our wonderful day!

This place is awesome! Ate dinner there tonight- totally on a drive-by- just happened to see it and decided to give it a try. Great choice! The ambiance is perfect- our waitress Martina was fantastic! The staff are all very mellow, low key and efficient--- this makes for a pleasant experience before you even get to the food !!! Now, let me just say the food is crazy amazing! Authentic Italian with FRESH made sauces. The bread and dipping sauce is fantastic, house salad exquisite, and the main course unbelievable! I had Chicken Picatta , Kurt had Gorgonzola something with veal and on a scale of 1-10, we both gave it a 10! Thats for all aspects; presentation, temperature, time to table and the flavors!!!!!! All incredible! Did I mention the great wine? And dont forget about Martina the waitress!!! Will definitely plan a return visit--- plus many more when we come back for a visit!

I give it a 4star revue based solely on the food my experience with the service was one of apprehension, as the host / maitre d seemed to not think I was worthy of a proper table my waitress treated me better I had the eggplant parmesan and it was excellent perhaps the best Ive had in Myrtle beach the minestrone was one of the best Ive had no matter where I am in the US so as I say if you want really excellent food and understand youre dealing with an old-world mentality ( where you are judged/viewed by looks, etc ) this is it. I see they will add pizza to the menu and because it says Naples I m thrilled, as this is the old style origin west village nyc pizza I grew up on, pre Polly o skim milk mozzarella .

Small but beautifully decorated and clean space. Family owned and they take pride in presenting fresh, tasty, and classic Italian food. Our waiter Martina was helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Nice wine list. I asked for thin slices of chicken in my Marsala and they were happy to oblige. Delicioso! Fresh croutons in the salad, which is one of the features we appreciate- so much better than packaged! If they had home made desserts I would have given them a 5 star rating. Nothing fancy is needed, just 2-3 fresh made Italian favorites. If youre looking for a slightly upscale Italian experience in this town of mostly forgettable restaurants, try this place!
