YES THERE IS SUSHI INCLUDED IN THE BUFFET.... but lets be clear here. Youll get what you paid for. This restaurant has mass-produced cheap American Chinese food. Its delicious if you enjoy eating mass-produced American Chinese food. Read that: prepare for a carbohydrate and sugar load like you wouldnt believe. The bulk of their short buffet bars (Im guessing six or seven of them?) displays dishes like "Sweet and Sour Chicken;" "Seseme Seed Chicken," "Spicy Chicken, etc, and of course egg rolls and egg drop soup etc. But dont fool yourself and think this is authentic food, or even made from scratch. Most of this food (I mean hey the lunch buffet price cost me a little over $8 with tax) is mass-produced and likely came frozen or in bags, then fried or heated in an oven. **I do suggest, however, that you take in the entire buffet, including the side buffets against the walls and the ones in the back. Thats where youll find the sushi and the seafood. (I had steamed shrimp.). Its no accident that those particular dishes are not front and center in the buffet room like the carb- and sugar-rich foods are. I made that mistake and immediately regretted it. The sushi is skimpy with content, but if I had seen it first I wouldve dived into it. ** Can you find healthy food here? Sure, theres a buffet bar with chopped fruit and some scattered "green" options--like a few cheap vegetable spreads and seaweed--but anything else is pretty much just mass-produced frozen foods. The decorations in the restaurant arent exotic, but the booths are comfortable and seat about four people.... so enjoy your visit, but know what youre going to get... I give this restaurant three stars because of the quality of the food and the low-cost decorations, but if youre a poor college student, coming here on the cheap for all you can eat is a dream. Good luck!

This buffet is very spacious and the staff is friendly and efficient. Those are really the only positives. I am quite familiar with these types of buffets, as they are a business model that pops up all over the country. The food tends to be the same: A general selection of Americanized Chinese food, plus the frequent addition of a made-to-order hibachi and a selection of sushi. Spring Buffet is no different, offering General Tsos chicken, fried shrimp, california rolls, and all the other stuff you see at these buffets. However, they dont do it very well. Everything we ate was quite bland, and served at near-room temperature which is very unappetizing. The serving area is not kept hot and products are not rotated. Seasoning is non-existent and the ingredients used in the dishes seem to be very low quality. We quickly lost our appetites after sampling a few dishes; luckily its not expensive or wed have been pretty cranky about paying to eat here. We wont be returning.

Ive been to the Spring Buffet a couple times. Im always excited to go. The amount and variety of food is impressive. However, each time I dine here, about halfway through my meal, I start feeling disappointed that the food Im eating tastes pretty average. Perhaps it reminds me of cafeteria food that I used to eat in college, or perhaps I havent been to enough Chinese buffets to compare this one to others, but nothing I eat here leaves a satisfying "wow that was tasty!" impression on my stomach. With that aside, the price is reasonable for all-you-can-eat, the desserts are good, and there is always an interesting demographic of patrons I enjoy observing.

Excellent price for an excellent variety. Visited towards the end of the night on a weekday when the roads were freshly slick with ice, so it was slower, and thus the food likely wasnt rotated as quick as it would be while busier, so I wont dock them for that. They had an excellent variety of food to choose from, including non-Chinese for those who arent interested. total was about $13 per person, which given the quality and variety, was cheap. Edit: 2nd visit, during a Sunday evening: food was much better due to the higher turnover. I highly suggest this buffet.

Good Chinese buffet with hibatchi and sushi. The sushi is usually quite good. The buffet fare is pretty standard. Good, but greasy enough to drown a moose. I sometimes wonder if they could cut the grease down a little bit it would improve the taste. Having said that, it conforms with the typical Chinese-buffet expectations. They have hard ice cream for dessert; most of the other dessert cakes and cookies are better off as decoration. Overall good value for the money. Usually come here after a long run day when I need to replace the calories.

If you cant find something here your really picky.. this place has multiple hot stations, salad bar, cold bar and a make your own noodle bar. There is a good mix of Asian and American food so the kids should be happy. The desire is a lot nicer and the food is hot and kept full. Overall this is a great buffet and I would recommend it to anyone. The current price is ~11 for an adult plus drink. Its more expensive than the main moon buffet but far superior imo.

Our first time there. We will definitely go again! Very clean. Excellent service and food was all very good. Many choices and several different kinds of sushi as well! We would have given the place 5 stars however the one complaint we had was the bathrooms were EXTREMELY COLD and the water in the bathroom was also EXTREMELY COLD! It never warmed up. Again...everything else was Excellent! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Ive been to over 25 different asian style buffets and this one by far is the best. Clean floor space clean buffet clean bathrooms for once. My waitress was on top of our drinks and empty plates at no time did I feel rushed. Large selection of food. I am satisfied with the food and service, for all the locals in auburn... Ditch sakura buffet and make the 40 min drive to Ithaca.

A good example of the Americanized Chinese buffet with pretty much exactly what youd expect at one. Theyve got a hibachi and sushi in addition to the normal steam tables. Try to get there around "normal" meal times or when theyre busy, the food isnt bad otherwise but its definitely better if you get there when its fresh.

Nice, large selection of different foods. Something for everyone from sushi, hibachi, traditional Chinese-American offerings, salad and the obligatory American choices as well. The food is good, the bathrooms are clean, the service is friendly and attentive. The best Chinese buffet that I can remember.

Very tasty food lots of options, even freshly made sushi! Clean, nice atmosphere, great place for kids. 2 adults + 2 kids under 5 for lunch we barely broke a $20. Everyone found things they liked and kids ate more than normal! We all left stuffed, happy, and sleepy. A patents dream!!!
