Beer was great. Thats about it. Hubby, 2 yr old and myself. Went in around 5:15 tonight and had to wait for the hostess to finish with the couple ahead of us; trying to explain seating policy for groups. Got seated around 5:25. Got beer order taken quickly. Sweet. Had the Cayuga and saison. Both awesome! Ordered dinner. Took 20+ minutes for food to come out. Hubs got the smokehouse burger. Wow. Was he disappointed. Small patty. Few toppings. I ordered the mushroom and sausage pizza. Sauce is dried and caked on the crust. Soggy mushrooms, raw onions. So sad. Server asked if we needed anything else BEFORE we took our first bite. I wish she came back while we ate. It was so sad. Bill took forever to show up. With a toddler, unless the fix can be done quickly its not worth the time to be done. And we didnt want to take that risk with how slow everything was at that point. All that was needed were more sauce on the pizza and a slightly longer cooking time; and more toppings on the burger. We saw other diners plates and they looked great! Guess thats what you get for going earlier in the evening. Slow service and sub par food. Bottom line. We would rather go to another establishment with their beer on tap, and order food there. Regardless of where that is. If we could have we would have took the 40+ dollars we spent on dinner and make the same food we wished we received and stayed home to prepare it ourselves. We were really looking forward to eating there.

I have upd my rating to a 4 star. Great to see you managing your Google+ Local page a bit more!! You still have more to do but youve got it started nicely ;) I would like to add a bit from the customer perspective side. Readers... this place is AWESOME! Whether you are a visitor to the area or a Finger Lakes region resident you really need to come here for dinner and beer. Youre not going to find an extensive menu, but what you will fine is simply outstanding burgers, salad, wood-fired pizza and some of the best house-made beer in the USA. Ithaca Beer Company has become another local date-night favorite place for us in Ithaca NY. When it is nice outside the patio and lawn is perfect! It gets a bit crowded inside, but that is because everyone loves this place. The indoor bar and dinner area is good size but is appears that their success is greater than they anticipated, so it gets a little tight inside. Waiting for a table is no problem because there is plenty of good beer to try out while you wait. Food is worth the wait regardless! I highly recommend Ithaca Beer Company!

Very poor customer service. Over a simple misunderstanding where we can bring our drinks while waiting for our table my husband was called a "jack-ass" by an employee named, Eric, to another co-worker who was bartending in front of many other customers by the bar. We were trying to adjust to the situation and as we walked away, I heard him tell the bartender - "Dont worry about him, he is a jack-ass". Very uncalled for, unprofessional and unnecessary. We were out for a family dinner with our 2-year old son and was hoping for a great experience but received awful treatment. Definitely not recommending this place where it is not family-friendly and there seems to be a lack of value system and professionalism in place.

My wife and I met when we were students at Cornell, and so it was only natural for us to come back and have our wedding in 2015 in Ithaca (posting this review a bit late, woops). When we agreed on a picnic for our rehearsal, I was thrilled to realize that Ithaca Beer Co had kegs available. Cascazilla had always been my favorite, and when the staff heard that it was for a wedding, they hooked us up with a keg of it even though it was not one of their usual options available. They were great to work with, and we were impressed with their new seating area and welcoming atmosphere on-site as well. We hauled a supply of their brews home with us, and look forward to stocking up again next time we are in town.

My favorite place we went to while we were in New York state. The outdoor seating is beautiful, the beers are way better than I expected, and the pizzas are pretty marvelous. I had a pizza with the goat summer sausage on it, and I highly recommend you do too -- it was just delicious, earthy and wonderful, paired nicely with the saison.... The open space outside has a bocce court, and inside there is a shuffleboard set up, service was fine, seemed to be college kids off for the summer, they knew the beers pretty well and were able to make recommendations. The 15th anniversary rye ale was pretty fantastic, I tend to like ryes in general and was really pleased with this one. Would go back if in Ithaca

My wifes favorite neighborhood pub. Excellent beer, great setting. We prefer it when it isnt so crowded, as it is a very popular spot. The chef is first rate, and while the fare is " pub food" in some respects, it is always done very well and there are creative and delicious options on the menu. The wood fired pizzas are uniformly great and the burgers always good. Not a completely budget sort of restaurant, but the menu features very good locally sourced meats and foods and the quality is consistent. Plenty of families eat here as well as students. Sit outside in the patio, one of the best outdoor settings for a restaurant in Ithaca. Inside can be a bit loud at times but its cheerful. Great staff.

This place is great, the atmosphere reflects what Ithaca is all about; the food is local, the beers are produced there; they have tours in the brewery that are lots of fun. The backyard is just amazing to sit in and relax, play some bacci ball or bring your Frisbee and play some nice pickup games. The chairs to sit outside with benches are perfect too. Service is good, it can get overcrowded at times and the wait can take a while but you can always order a cold one and hangout outside while you wait, this is the reason i didnt give them 5 stars ratings. Cant wait to go again, way a go Ithaca Beer

Ithaca beer has a good variety of beers available, with a stable of reliably good styles, some standouts and occasional duds. The majority of beer Ive had here was either good or very drinkable. Once or twice they were attempting something exotic and it was a complete miss (there was an earl gray beer and a Belgian cherry that I would never order again). They had a nitro stout that was VERY good, and their nut brown, flower power, apricot wheat, etc. are steady regulars. The food is good and reasonable to mid priced.

Loved the beer. Flower power is good and understandably their flag ship beer. Found the brewery was really interesting and the tour was fun. Maybe pay a little more for the tour and get it with a brewer or something would have been better. Tour guide is good but most of the information is standard things beer geeks already know. Also wish they had a few nicer t shirts for sale. The designs are kind of dated.
