For what could be described as a fast food chain, the customer service here is impeccable. Granted the food at first may be a little more expensive then you anticipate when you arrive but you pay for what you get. The associate Dawn is often found working here and constantly has a smile on her face and is seemingly pleased to be doing her job. I ended up talking with her, and I have come to find out that she is also a firefighter and an EMT, she talked in depth about how Firehouse gives back to agencies, she feels as if it is a decent place to work. You dont often find fast food type chains where people are pleased to go to work and good food. I will continue to eat here for some time.

My boyfriend and I discovered this place completely by accident, and it has become our favorite new sandwich spot. Its truly a hidden gem. Weve collectively tried five different subs so far and all of them have been absolutely DELICIOUS. Better than Wegmans, better than Ithaca Bakery, MILES better than Subway. Also, Im confused by the reviews saying the service wasnt good-- The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make recommendations, make your food exactly how you want it, and come to your table to ask how youre enjoying your meal. This might be my new favorite lunch spot. A+.

Consistant quality and service. We enjoyed the visit today, and were especially pleased to see the initive of one young employee that took a slack time to actually get down on the floor and clean the pedestal and legs of the tables. I believe her name was Dawn... but she was doing this cleaning without thought anyone was noticing...just that it needed doing. Hopefully Firehouse recognizes these young people in some manner, it was just refreshing to see.

Great service and delicious food. I went there for the first time today and mistakenly ordered a sub with mayo and onion. I was willing to pay for a new sub (as it was my fault for not reading the menu correctly). Instead, the team was quick to give me a corrected order free of charge. I am impressed with how well they treat their customers and will definitely be returning.

Immediately took my order but waited at least 10 minutes till I good my food. They only made 1 sub before mine cause I watched. Food was barely warm. Someone came and asked how things were and I told her. All she said was shes sorry. Didnt send a manager over nor did 1 come over. VERY DISSATISFIED this visit.

Only gave 3 stars because the service was decent. Friendly staff and short wait time but the place was basically deserted. The subs are mediocre at best, barely a step above subway. Soggy and bland, dont recommend and wont be returning.

I have seen and wanted To come to Firehouse subs for quite a while, at least any time that I have been in or through the Ithaca area. Im not disappointed at all and I LOVE the visuals (I have a thing for fire departments lol)

Ordered a hot Italian sub with everything except deli mustard. It was delicious! They are not stingy with the meat portions, and the 12" is extremely filling. Highly recommend!

Fairly good sub although a little pricey, very friendly staff. Very clean premises. Still does not compare to Wegmans Subs.
