saw that they had a carrot soup on the menu. I asked what was in it and the service person said pureed carrot. I ordered it and it was inedible. When returning it I asked the service person to check the ingredients and the main overwhelming one was ginger. When i asked to speak to the manager or the owner I was told no-one was available. I would have at least liked an apology or the item removed from my check.

Simply love it! Warm comfortable feel, wonderful food, and the staff is intentive without being over-bearing. The menu changes weekly (which I love), and almost everything is made in the restaurant. The market and cafe sell their cheeses, meats, sandwiches, and salads; which most are wonderful. Its a great consept and the surrounding area is area is extremely beautiful.

The BEST (bacon, swiss? & spinach) quiche Ive had in my life! Diane in the deli was a superb attendant and pleasantly personable. Between the two, although Im not from the area, Id make an effort to return when next possible. Hopefully to try their dinner. Outstanding quality & taste! Many thanks.

The market cafe is wonderful, and something we are fortunate to have in this area of Hudson River Valley. Its as much a warm, cozy coffee shop with fantastic food as well as healthy, delicious market. Hopefully the wi-fi is fixed by now!

One star is generous and that is for the drinks. This is one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. The pompano was laughable and so was most everything else. All six of our guests would never return.

A bit hard to find, service lame, coffee cold, then "help yourself" on refills inside when youre sitting at a table outside? The food was OK, nothing great dont know what the fuss is about.

The grass-fed beef burger was superb. Loved the espresso ice cream and chocolate chip cookie.
