Hampton Bays is so lucky to have this first class restaurant right in town. The menu is extensive and includes a wide variety of Asian cuisines. The sushi is beautiful, imaginative, wonderful. The chef, Vivienne, is a genius. I would walk over broken glass to have her pad thai. The wait-staff is pleasant, accommodating and helpful. There is a catering and take-out service that will make you look like the worlds greatest host (hostess) Too many fabulous items on the menu to single out one or 2, but I will mention the Sea Bass and the roti, 2 of my favorites. Worth a trip from anywhere.

How can I describe my experience in 1 word? Disrespectful I went in with a large family and ordered plenty of food. You would think the restaruant would be happy to serve and charge for plenty of dishes. Instead, they were constantly complaining about having to take our dishes away. They ridiculed us for asking for many refills of green tea. Overall we may have been a big party but were by no means a roudy bunch. Do not go here unless you want to feel uncomfortable for ordering food. Food was okay. Nothing special but the service ruined the experience.

Disappointing food. The starters were okay, eventhough my papaya salad came with more grilled prawns than papaya. After, we ordered 3 different chicken dishes : teriaki, siam and satay. All three were close to inedible. The chicken didn’t taste as chicken in any of them. Vast amounts of sauce and/or flower essence were used to mask its poor quality and the fact it must have been frozen only minutes ago. Was it only chicken? It felt bad, almost toxic. We aren’t fussy, but none of us finished our dish or were asked what was wrong with it. Shame.

I have never complained in my life. The slowest and worst service. Simply disrespectful. While walking out after waiting 2 hours (and larger parties come in after us get served 3 course meals and pay the check), they brought our food, it was terrible. The sushi (yes, 2 hr california rolls?) wasnt fresh and the avocado was old, mushy, and brown. The food was ridiculously overpriced. I would never return to this restaurant. I SHOULDVE STUCK WITH TONYS, best local asian food round these parts!

I got the pad Thai and it was delicious. We did appetizers as well and werent disappointed. Food was great, restaurant was clean. The tables are a little close together so we made friends with the people eating next to us. If youre looking for private conversation this isnt the place. If youre looking for great food and service, this is your spot!

Disrespectful. Ive never had to play the victim when eating at a resturant, but boy did this place make me feel as such. Disgusting bus boy who consistently patronized our party and a waiter who belittled our requests. Do not go here.

An amazing meal if you like anything Asian. The menu is larger than you might expect and covers many different Asian cuisines. Everything is delicious! I wouldnt say its overly pricey, but its definitely not a steal.

This restaurant is always good. Great diverse menu ,friendly staff and the food is consistent. Kind of pricey for fusion food but it is well worth it . We always bring the kids and that works out fine.

We looked on many different restaurant websites and they all said Matsulin closes at 10... We got there at 9 and the sushi chef had gone home! Ridiculous to say you close at 10 and then not serve!!

Great food but REALLY poor service. The manager admitted this but just said it is hard to find good employees. She said we would get better service next time but there wont be a next time.
