I live locally and have been enjoying Hanami for years, even as ownership has switched hands. There is no doubt that the food is high quality and the restaurant is clean and tidy. I have rated it 4 stars due to its cost, as the prices are steep for Clinton (a working class town). I find the lunch offerings to be your best bang for your buck. I have brought many people to this eatery and they all agree that the food quality is high. The only other downside is the service. Some servers can be inconsistent with their demeanor (seem imposed upon when the customer has a request or question) while others can be friendly. I have learned to take the good with the bad, as the food is worth it.

My mom asked the waitress to warm up her noodles and she did but brought them back cold so we asked again. Next thing we k ow the front desk women came and we explained to her what happened she started yelling and said she will not serve this dish to us again and wanted us to order something different. We left embarrassed by her disturbances seen by the whole restaurant.

Staff was rude when I asked questions about menu and also told me that I didnt need all the food I was ordering. I am from out of town and wanted to order some extra stuff to take back to my hotel. The waitress said "I think that is too much for you." I am thouroughly offened and will not be coming back.

The service was terrible and the food was unnecessarily expensive. My sushi was falling apart when I was trying to eat it. The waiter was not nice, forgot things, and at the end after paying, I was chased after Ieat because I did not leave a tip. I will never be going back.

Ive been going to Hanami for years now, and its always a great experience. The staff takes the quality of food and service very seriously, and the restaurant is always clean. If you are looking for sushi around the Clinton area, this is your best option.

Agreeing with Okokok, its the best sushi in the area. We lost Maru a couple years back and that was the best sushi this side of NYC. Prices are fair, Ive paid more, its very fresh and have never had a bad meal here.

Terrible customer service and expensive. Sushi is okay but portions are small. The hibachi tables are in a small room that leaks gas and youhr stuck in there.

Chinese man made Japanese food is not like Japanese traditional and taste . Katsudon is one of Japanese traditional food. You wont get really.
