One of the best places for suhsi in NY. I traveled to Japan, learned about culture and food. This restaurant made me feel like in Japan. I understand the owners are originally from Hiroshima, this fact is important to me, since they are truely Japanese. I have been 5 times at this place and intend to go tonight.... especially since I had a horrible experience today at a Sushi House I was scouting in East Quogue....Shucks..... I noticed the review of May 25th.... I wrote it..... ahhh.Well, its still the best place to go around here. Matsulin in Hampton Bays is also good. SAKURA HOUSE HORRIBLE.... TONYS FUSION, I havent visited.

I visited with my wife. The food was excellent. After visiting Japan, I found this place to be just the same as what I experienced in Kyoto, Yokohama and Tokyo. The owners are very nice. The place has the common Japanese simplicity. Very casual environment. Prices are not elevated. I really liked the place and I shall return. The Infantryman.

Ive worked at Sushi 1 for a couple years now. I never get tired of the fresh fish and delicious food. They are very simplistic and it is owned by the nicest family you would ever meet who work behind the sushi bar and waitress and more. I recommend this over any other sushi restaurant in the area. You will never be disappointed.
