Called a head today to order two dinners, was very specific about the time I was picking up the meals. Told my bill would be $23.00....I get there and my check was $35.00. Asked to speak to the manager, no discussion "too bad, take take it or leave it attitude! " is what I got after I explained myself. No attempt at customer service, or compromise. I paid the bill rather than cause a scene as I was late for where I needed to be with dinner! Called from the car to express my opinion to the manager and again..."oh well too bad attitude" again!!! I have been a very loyal customer having lived in the Village & Town of Goshen since 1976....today was it for me! It only takes one lousy experience like this to make me take my hard earned dollars somewhere else!!! I promised him I would spread the news!!! Heres where I start....Oh and by the way.....it got one star here only because it was the only way I could leave my comment!!! Very sad faces on the regular staff there....too bad the change of ownership seems to make it such a depressing place to work....the remodel cant mask a crappy management style!!!

just came from there........eggs florentine poached eggs had yolks that were overcooked but hers the worst and while I will NEVER go back there... I met friends for breakfast...we were sitting there after an hour finishing upo our coffees when someone who was not our waitress took our water glasses which were still drinking and asked us if we wanted more coffee. We said no, we were just finishing what we had. In five minutes she was back. reached with her whole body across our table (we were in a booth) grabbed the sugar and said she needed it for the next table and then told us she "had a line out the door." How absolutely RUDE and on top of that there was on couple waiting for a table. I have never been treated so rudely in any eating establishment and I will be telling my friendsand certainly will never be going back.

Went here for dinner. It took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and the place was not busy. The waitress clearly didnt care. I had a burger, which was greasy and gross, served with cold onion rings The lettuce in my wifes salad was brownish. She had the prime rib and mashed potatoes. She didnt like the mashed potatoes at all as they were brown and lumpy. One thing to mention, and this was surprising, the cole slaw and beans which came with my meal was served to us in little to go cups, with the lids on them. Seems to me if you are eating in, not taking out, they would take the time to put the sides in a bowl. It indicated that the cook/waitresses were lazy. I am willing to give them another try...but only for breakfast. The Americana diner in Middletown is way better!

The diner has been a hit or miss for me and my wife. Most places try to please the customer if there was a issue with the food. We ordered the sugar glazed ham dinner, it came out as seven thin slices of deli ham. BAD MOVE, my wife was upset and asked why she was not told, she expected the ham to come as a ham steak. They made no effort to remedy the problem, they rate a FAILING grade for customer satisfaction. In this day of tight money they lost a good customer. The search goes on for a reliable diner. The Goshen diner is off our list.

This is a good basic diner. Its very busy at the times you would expect, but the waite is still acceptable. It is under new management and has been completely renovated lucily they kept all, well almost all, the waite staff which are fantastic. The food and portions are good and they have a bar with wine. Sonya and I had a chef and cob salid which was very good. The new open floor plan is a bit noisy for my taste but again this is a good basic diner with good food. PS: They have brand new menus and you know what that means.

The service was beyond horrible. Our waitress Liz was extremely rude and nasty. Did not offer coffee or tea with the breakfast meal when its included. Kept rushing us to get out the door by dropping the check off the minute the food hit the table. Im a server and I must say that she was the worst waitress I have ever encountered. Seriously Liz if you are not happy with your life then change it and quit your job. Dont ruin peoples mornings because your life is ruined... The toast was good though.

Have been going to this diner for over 10 years, now under new ownership. Food has been coming out over cooked, burnt eggs on Sunday mornings, Bacon taste dried and nasty, must have changed vendors. George the manager is a nasty and rude man, no personality at all, not nice to his staff that has been there for years. Appearence has been spruced up, but overall the management and quality of food has declined. The only thing it has going for it is the staff, very professional and a joy.

Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayo. Pretty simple sandwich. What I received was a slice of grilled chicken on a roll, sitting on a half head of lettuce. This must be some sort of sadistic joke. A cat could understand and create the sandwich I described with ease. This is also not the first time Ive had a botched dish from this pace. But it will be the last time theyll get my business.

Typical diner; nothing remarkable about it. I like the Greek dishes and burgers even though everything is heavy and a bit oily. Convenient though because of the size of the menu, it being one of the only things open late nearby, and the food being consistent. Acceptable for a cheap meal. Family that runs the place is also really nice, and they give you free sugar cookies.

Went just this past Wednesday night. Was not crowded. Had chicken kabobs, told they would be 20 minutes if I wanted to wait. Of course I did. 50 minutes later all of our food arrived. Waitress did not stop once to refill drinks. Had to ask young man cleaning tables to get her. Food was okay. Has gone downhill. Will not be going there again.

Met my wife for lunch on her brake took 10 mins just to order our drinks then another 5 to get them then another 10 mins to order food all said and done was over an hour an thirty mins for lunch. Wife had to use an hour of her time to cover the incompetent service. Food was average. Will never return here.

Fantastic! Family went here for dinner on a whim and we all really enjoyed our food. I had the lasagna and I swear it was the best Ive had outside of home in decades! Dinner specials for two were a great deal and included great soup and choice of dessert from the case. We will be back weekly!

One of the cleanest diners I have ever seen. The hosts and hostesses are very friendly and the waitresses are efficient and like friends now, because weve eaten Sunday breakfasts there every week for over a decade. Dinner portions are very generous. Its always a pleasure to eat there.
