Two couples who have been customers for years, before and after IHOP Parsippanys renovation, sit together at a booth on a Tuesday night when they offer senior discounts. They are also offering an additional promotion that evening, $1.00 for a short stack of pancakes. Before ordering we tell the server that we would like separate checks. One couple orders the $1.00 short stack and the other couple wants to order from the regular menu with the senior discount. The manager tells us that you cannot order two promotional items at the same table. Its not like each couple was ordering both of the 2 promotional items. They were totally separate transactions. Too bad the manager wasnt trained in customer service and his/her stupidity has lost 6 people (one other regular couple was absent that evening) from ever being customers again. There is a wonderful IHOP in Totowa, not that far away.

So I ordered their red velvet pancakes with scrambled eggs and hash browns, which took a really long time to arrive (easily about 40 minutes). But once the food arrived, thats when things really fell apart. The pancakes were just too much sweet to handle, which I believe may have made me diabetic (I will be scheduling an appointment with my doctor to confirm this). The eggs just tasted a bit fishy, like they just werent real eggs. They were also rather runny, and potentially uncooked. The hash browns were actually okay, but I believe they were ruined as soon as I topped them with some funky rotten ketchup. About an hour after I left, I started feeling excruciatingly painful stomach cramps, followed by nauseousness, which finally ended after three rapid vomits, where the last one also shot out from my nostrils. I dont think I will be returning to this ihop any time soon.

Another great meal at the Parsippany IHOP. Place was packed and there were 15-20 people waiting when we arrived. Hostess informed us wait was about 5-10 minutes, They quickly seated the people already waiting and we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Love when the wait time quoted is accurate. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Food was delivered quickly and was hot and tasty. Checkout was handled promptly. This IHOP has really improved with the current owners. We had stopped going many years ago because the previous owners could not manage the restaurant. Looking forward to our next Sunday breakfast at the IHOP.

Not the best experience Ive had at an IHOP. We went in the evening, so I wasnt expecting it to be packed, and it wasnt. It seemed like there was a crew of 5 or so kids as waiters/waitresses. A few more people came in after us and Id say the restaurant was a quarter full and when it came time for the check, it took 25 minutes to get it... no idea where the waiter was when we finished eating and then when he came back to clean off the table (10 mins later), it took him another 15 minutes to bring the check. They really were not that busy for us to have to wait that long...

This is one of the go to places in Parsippany New Jersey when youre out after a fun night you want to get something to eat on the way home International House of Pancakes lilies that place you want to go to always fresh food I remember when the Craigs owned it they did a great job and now is continuing the success

Was a party of 1, came to grab a quick bite for dinner, there were decent amount of diners, I was seated fast, served fast, checkedout a little slow tho. Pabcakes were superb, philly cheese steak sandwich was a little dry, but thank God for condiments, all in all I left satisfied.

Clean and quick. They also do food to go so you can go in here, order and get it to go as fast as many fast food places but better food and more choices. There is usually not a wait except for special events. They have a side room for events and parties.

Great Experience! Our server was very friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The rest of the staff was pleasant. And the place was extremely clean and our food was excellent. This is one of the best iHops Ive been to, and I will come back again.

Worst IHOP Ive personally visited. Both my meal and my companions meal were overdone and the place seemed generally unkempt. To me, the staff appeared apathetic and uninterested. Nothing terrible happened, but I cant imagine returning.

As generic chains go, IHOP is pretty good and reliable. They have a very extensive menu to choose from, and in this particular location we had a very friendly and helpful server, which made the meal even better.

Just because i was a party of 1 doesnt mean you have to keep me waiting and ignore me while others who arrived after me were promptly seated. I never felt so rudely treated. Im a local and grew up with this Ihop.

Excellent Food - quite a few vegetarian options. Even if its not there on the menu, they happily modify their dishes with vegetables instead of meat. Beautiful interiors. Very Friendly servers. Lots of parking.
