I just recently posted a review on Yelp, in regards to the terrible service that I received today. I frequent Bagels 4u at least four days a week and typically order the same thing, a bagel sliced. Today an employee that I have never seen before, charged me a slicing fee. After I explained to her that the slicing fee only applies to one dozen or more, she became very rude and nasty and said, I still had to pay the slicing fee. I then refused to pay, and then saw another employee that has been working there for quite some time, coming from the rear of the store. I then asked her to explain to the new employee, in which she translated to her in spanish. The new employee was being argumentative with the employee and finally listened to her. She then snatched my money out of my hand, which really left a bad taste in my mouth. I then told her that I would be calling later in the day to speak with the manager. I called there several hours later and asked if the manager was there, and I was told no. I then asked would the manager be in tomorrow and was told yes. I then asked what the managers name was and was told " I do not know". I then asked you do not know your managers name and the lady on the phone said no. I am terribly disgusted with the treatment that I received today, not to mention my company patronizes Bagels 4 u on a regular basis.

Our company stopped calling in orders because they dont understand English and have messed up every single order, and double charged us on top of it. Even face to face they dont understand what you are saying. It is so sad because the food is good. Very disappointing that they dont understand English in my home town of East Hanover.

This place is going down hill. Bagels arent as good as the other stores in the chain and the employees seem very over worked and disgruntled.

Best bagels around! I moved a year ago and will drive 25 minutes to get bagels here. The bagels around me now are terrible!
