Sweet Yummy House serves super spicy and tasty szechuan food. The prices are decent with fairly good portion sizes. Im honestly not too familiar with specific szechuan foods, like what kinds of things a "good szechuan" restaurant should prepare well. But I do know that I like spicy Chinese food. This place definitely delivers on the spice. Make sure you order a non-spicy dish to give your mouth some respite between spicy bites. I normally just order a couple things that sound yummy in addition to dan dan noodles and wontons in red chile oil sauce. The service here is fairly typical for a Chinese restaurant. If you want it, get someones attention and ask for it. Ive seen reviewers mention possibly not getting service if you dont speak Chinese and I say dont worry about it. Im pretty much the worst case scenario: Chinese American who only speaks English with a caucasian girl friend and I have no problem getting good service here. It is a tight narrow space with one large table and a few smaller ones. Its clean though and I usually seem them with a A health inspection rating.

Food was excellent! We asked for cumin lamb, I dont even think its on the menu, and we got a very large, piping hot, absolutely delicious platter of fragrant lamb and peppers. The eggplant in garlic sauce was terrific as well. Beer duck was tasty but there wasnt much edible on those duck pieces, and it wasnt worth the price. Ambience isnt exactly overwhelming either. But who needs fancy? Overall really good food at very fair prices, perhaps the best Chinese food in walking distance of Jackson Heights.

As a Szechuan person, I always order the "Twice Cooked Pork" to identify the authenticity of a Szechuan restaurant. It was authentic two years ago but today it deviated a little, though the ingredients are authentic. The boiling fish fillet is fantastic. Fish meat is tender and is lingered with a subtle taste of Szechuan hot pot. The potstickers are not impressive and can be passed. Air-conditioned environment.

We went with someone who spoke Chinese, and I dont think we would have gotten service otherwise. However, we received 6 dishes extremely rapidly. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the spicing was delicious. The food was VERY spicy, but did not lack flavor. The fish was delicate, the rice cakes delicious, vegetables crisp and tasty, and the chicken was wonderful. I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

We have dine there twice, 1st since 2 yrs ago. Foods are terribly & overpriced. The picture on this web is our favor Broadway Seafood not this joint. Their waitresses cant provide a breakdown of the bill and foods arent tasty & not Sichuan cuisine at all!

Excellent. If you dont like the authentic organ meats (I dont), pick the shredded beef with sesame sauce and the chicken with chefs spicy sauce. Tell the server how spicy you want it. Great taste and atmosphere. Close to M, R subway too.

The shredded pork is crazy good, the food here is spicy and delicious. Scallion pancakes, diced fish with peanuts, I try to get over there once a week. Price is reasonable - for the authenticity of the food. May not be for the timid.
