This is a FAMILY . Restaurant. Teachers from schools nearby have lunch Here. It actually the only place that has a beautiful.view of Manhattan. Freedom tower . From Jamica a bay. . My Brother JimMcdermott build up the kichen in the 1980s. I was the first Waitress to work here. The owners. Have kept it goiing since my Brother have passed on. It was the first.place to open up after super storm sandy. In which was a heaven sent.. They had a childrens party gave out toys. It was great. They helped so many of the Rockawaybeach chilfren who lost everything afterr the storm. I got to see my chilfren for lunch thank god. BOb AND Jim got the RESTAURANT running quickly AFTER SANDY. WITH EMPLOYER OF THE MONTH the help.of George Bautz . ALlot of contruction. With all the rest of the CREW. COOKS And all the grest BARMAIDS And Waitresses. GO Wharf!!! :-). THANK YOU. Do. You remember Edie best Waitresse . She is my sister. She passed on two yeard ago. We all miss Jim.And EDIE. They made the Wharf. It eill never be the same.! :-) :(Edie is on the right with our sister kathleen. Who passed also. We had great memories at the wharf. Anf still do..The summers the best. Come by boat ,train, car . Have a Drink at the Bar.

The customer service in this place is horrible, it took us about 15 minutes until someone was able to serve us. The menu looks good but the food is not good at all. It is worst than diner food. The crab cakes I had was disgusting and the mango salsa was a heavy, overpowering dressing that wasnt coherent with the crab. My boyfriend ordered the clam chowder, it was fishy and he only took two spoonfuls to send it back. The server girl had an attitude. Over priced, gross and never coming here again.

Nice quaint little place situated on the water in Rockaway. A little confusing to get to or know which way the entrance was. Food was great especially the Lobster Roll. My Clam Chowder was also delicious. The sunset view is too die for. It is a CASH ONLY establishment so be warned. Very little top shelf liquor and please note the times of operation. Do not park in the pharmacys parking lot. The staff is amazing and service was on point.

They need to have a sign tbat,says... see hostess... in 10 years that Im going here I never knew of such a thing, I always just,walk in and sit down. Not last night..she came to my table after I was,seated and asked me to leave the table . What an insult considering she was no where around when I entered and i didnt see anyone waiting. A SIMPLE SIGN AT ENTRANCES WILL SUFFICE.

The waitress who looks like JK Rowling always has a snarl on her face and a knot in her ass. She was bitching about the ferry boat that stops and unloads for an hour where everyone dumps their money on her, poor thing, and her "service" blows. The only thing she was good at serving was attitude.... I still recommend the place, jist avoid JK Rowling.

One star for the sunset view and a few stars for the friendly female bartender at the outside bar but it was downhill from there. Was told our table for three was ready with two chairs! I had better TV dinners then the house special fish and chips. Never got the second drink we ordered and had to ask for the check twice. Go someplace else.

What a stunning setting and a delicious breakfast ! But why was the waitress so rude ? Surely its her job to be pleasant and explain the options to the customers . Instead we had a young lady who barked at us several times , "You must specify , you must specify ! " An unpleasant experience and handled badly by your member of staff .

My favorite place do down a dew cold ones while in Rockaway. Very friendly staff, Colleen being my favorite bartender, ever. Great views of the bay and not stingy on the hard liquor. Sort of hard to find if you dont know the area, they are behind the gas station.

A gem in rockaway! Food was very good, fresh and delicious! Service at first was like "looking who to serve us" to having a very attentive server. Nice and relaxing place to chill. Even kid friendly. Youll see NYC skyline as well. Definitely will come back.

Good food, had my 1st lobster roll, ever. ...delish. French onion soup, marinated steak sandwich, fish tacos all good servings and food was good. Service was fast and pleasant. Views of Jamaica Bay and The City...breathtaking.

Atmosphere is great. I have been coming here since I was a baby. One of the few restaurants in NYC that has a boat dock. Great food after a nice day on the boat. The waitresses are all friendly and they have known us for years.

I used to really like this place but the food quality has really gone downhill and has very slow service. Waitresses are friendly and great but it seems they cant do much if the food comes out 45 min later and not very good.

Nice place to go eat after a day at the beach. Relaxing atmoshphere outside . Watch the sun set over the bay as you eat. Slow service but thats ok. This is the kind of place you dont mind taking your time at

Arrived at 7:45 and saw 3 open tables and the hostess told us they werent sitting anyone else. The staff was also smoking at the entrance and it was hitting people who were eating in the face.
