I cook myself and my wife and I do a bit of travel in Italy. We stopped in LA Villa through yelp and oh wow! We first got some onion focaccia placed on the table, nice. They also had a twist on a traditional caprese salad, which was very good with roasted pepper. Then we ordered a half moon ravioli like pasta stuffed and topped with generous amount of wild mushrooms, oh wow. The wine sauce was perfectly balanced with sage and garlic. I can still taste it. They also serve wine. This is more like a trattoria than pizzeria. Cozy enough for lunch. Definitely coming back.

I love La Villa. I have been going here for 3 years. Although it takes a while to get seated it is worth it. Once i went there and they didnt have baked ziti, veil parmagian, and mozerrelle cheese. Also the waitor hid the entire dinner left us parched for half a hour and forgot my spaghetti and only brought me the meatballs. Besides that one slip up in three years i love La Villa i go there every week and it is my favorite restaurant. I go to he one in Mill Basin which is very close to home so im happy i go to La Villa

Love the place usually but todays experience was disappointing. Potato crockets werent available. Inside it was really hot. Had to wait a long time for bread and in general for everything. Hair was in one of the dishes where they came back and said it was from Brillo, like the fact that there is a metal string in my plate makes it better. Just really disappointed.

Food was pretty good with nice portion size. Nice variety of choices. We were a large group of 13 people and was seated in a very reasonable time on a Saturday night. The baked clams was delicious but I would leave out the fried calamari next time. Some dishes were a little pricey but most dishes were reasonable value. Would definitely come again.

Ahhh....granny pizza at La Villa....a perfect mix of not-sweet crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, herbs, basil and a focaccia crust that defies attempts to do it justice with the written word. Its worth a trip to Brooklyn. Downside? The pizza is a little pricey. But this just might be a case of you get what you pay for....

Worst customer service. I was there 1 year ago and everything was great so I decided to take my parents there. They didnt have 4 ropes of vine from the menu. Requested to have pasta, they didnt have clams and shrimps. Pizza was terrible .... Customer service is bad... It was a good place a year ago but not now ... Ski it...

We have been going there for years. It seems like within the last few years every time we go they are out of something especially desserts. We usually go very early before it gets crowded so to be out of things that early makes no sense to me. Other then that the food is very good and the staff as well.

I love this spot. The food is always good here. My favorite items are the Rigatoni ala vodka and the Brocolli Rabe. A wide variety of pizzas so something for everyone. There can be a bit of a wait in the evenings but its well worth it. If you live in the neighborhood they do deliver.

i ordered for delivery...in which they took and hour and a half to do...by the time the food got here it was freezing cold and burnt and disgusting....i gave that delivery guy no tip because i felt that he was terrible and didnt deserve a dollar. i only live 10 minutes away!!

Moe than a pizzeria more like a restaurant that serves pizza. Some classic Italian dishes are on the menu as well as some specialties. The pizza is fires in a brick oven that gives it a crunchy crust. The wait can be long on most evenings so plan on a bit of a wait.

Excellent for the hood ! Dinner time is always a long wait-expect it to be at least 45min if you arrive after 7pm. The food is ALWAYS good.Depending on the waitress you get --the service is good. I love the food: eggplant. meatballs. veal......you cant go wrong.

The food is always delicious & plentiful!! Prices are very reasonable!! My girlfriend who is a cook & very particular says the ingredients are very good & well presented!! We eat there 1 or 2 times a week. The help is always friendly & attentive!! We love it!!

The service is good. I stopped for pizza, at this typical local neighborhood pizza place. The pizza was good. Crispy crust and the top was cooked to perfection with gooey cheese. Prices are moderate. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by.

No matter how busy this place gets you barely ever wait long for your food. The food is priced above average but the quality of the food is top shelf. The pizza sauce is amazing and one of my favorite pizzas is the zucchini slice.

Everything Ive ever ordered here is delicious. I especially love: caprese salad; grilled chicken Ceasar wrap; rigatoni alla vodka (deservea 5 stars alone); bruschetta milanese; and crispino slice! Enjoy!!
