This place is in the middle of nowhere, but I was in the neighborhood and decided to give it a try. I must say that although they dont speak English extremely well, the Korean food is top 3 out of all the places Ive been. In fact, the kimchi they serve is the best Ive had. Its something about the mix of spicy with juicy vinegary taste. They cut it on the spot and my mouth waters every time. I would come here just for the kimchi... Ive only tried lunch here, but the food is extremely fresh and I love the oxtail soup. Also get the pigs knees - they make me feel bad self consciously afterwards (as I wallow in my lack of strength to keep a healthy diet), but its well worth it. Too bad its so far away from my usual Manhattan routes...

I think a language barrier is an issue, but not trying to be flexible and maybe smile when you are taking orders from a non Korean speaking customer is simply bad customer service, I wont use the word rude but the staff needs to be trained in handling English speaking customers. Also their food isnt quiet impressive, I do however enjoy their fried dumplings and bibimbap. It seems that traditional Korean dishes are not included like Kimchi stew or the soft tofu seafood stew and the menu description is not very clear and misspelled in English. I am not sure how are they in business! since a lot of other Korean restaurants in the area are much more flexible and more catering when it comes to Korean cuisine.

I used to live in the apartment building across the street and this was my favorite restaurant in the whole neighborhood. Im no expert in Korean food but I suspect that this restaurants popularity and longevity is due almost entirely to the food. Decor is meh and service is decent. They are trying but they appear to cater mostly to a Korean clientele. The food is excellent. My personal favorite is the Yukgaejang - an excellent rendition. The kimchi and radish here is also excellent. Tang on Northern Blvd is a comparable restaurant but is fancier and more expensive. I myself prefer the no-nonsense approach of this place. Nowadays I drive out from Long Island just to eat here.

Great little Korean spot tucked in a residential neighborhood strip mall with strong tang and galbi games. Open 24/7 and very popular among the local Koreans. I say this despite horrific service - did not get my tea or kimchi refilled. Was it due to ethnicity as some other reviews suggest? Always possible. Either way, Id come back.

We ordered Sul-nong-Tang, Soup stock was very tasty. And aged Cucumber, Radish kimchi was great. But the service was a little slow - not professional. And the Restroom was smelly. I guess the manager do not care about restaurant business but taste. If they fix that it will earn more business. Good luck.

Solid food + good service + good price = you cant go wrong. Everything is similar to its other location in Flushing but a totally different decor. Kind of loud when full but youre usually in and out so not too bad. bibimbapp is great here.

This place have excellent Korean soup, Sullong Tang and Dogani tang are good even the Yukgaejang is better than a lot of other places! I like Bossam as well. Fast service, great price, easy parking.

Best place in queens to get seolleongtang. Service may not be the most attentive but their soup is to die for. Awesome for cold winter nights.
