I sort of dont want to tell people about this place.... such a great spot with delicious sushi and a very well priced omakase, why wouldnt I want to keep this a secret!? They dont take reservations on weekends 6-9pm so we just walked in and asked for the omakase at the bar. Omakase isnt on the menu which I didnt know since there are plenty of reviews on it. So they had to ask Chef Tony because I guess it gets super busy on weekends. He was so awesome and we were happy to sit right in front of him because he engages you throughout the dinner. Apparently the fish from Japan comes in on mondays and Thursdays so next time well probably go on those days. We got lucky this time because of the snowstorm the delivery was late and we got to enjoy it!

This is an authentic, pure, and traditional sushi restaurant; not a fusion spot. Its a little small, and a little wait sometimes, but its so worth it. Theres a reason why its so popular. The quality of the food is excellent; incredibly fresh. The ambiance is perfect and the staff are relaxed and friendly, while also professional. You can really taste, and see, how fresh and expertly made everything is. The green tea ice cream is actually deep green like good quality macha, and thats because they make it with real macha; it isnt watered down. Even the furniture is hand made! All in all, this is an excellent Japanese restaurant, and a real gem.

I came in here with some of my girlfriends just looking to get a pitcher of sangria at the bar. But after we ordered that, we realized we HAD to get some food too. My girls had the calamari and empanada, which they loved. I tried the calamari too, so I can totally vouch for that one! I personally shared the jerk chicken dish. It was only $13 for 2 thighs, and a side of rice. Omg! If that wasnt the most delicious piece of chicken Ive had in awhile... I dont know what is. Its the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. It was too perfect. The $30 pitcher of sangria was great as well. Tasted delicious and had me at a good little buzz.

If you want an outstanding Japanese experience give Torigo a try. The staff are very professional and showed me the proper way to eat and drink. I had Sashimi to start and then the Salmon on Salmon roll which I havent had before. It was terrific! For dessert I had the Green Tea and Sweets. It was a nice light dessert and a great relaxer to finish off the evening. I only wish they had a restaurant on the west coast where I live. Enjoy!

I love this place. Its my old neighborhood to go place for Japanese food. Its a small restaurant but the food is amazing here. I had the curry dish here which is seasoned well and is perfect for a cold winter day. I also tried the bento box here which is great. Everything tasted well and was very filling. The staff is very friendly here. Im definitely coming back whenever Im in the neighborhood.

I came here this past year with my cousin on my birthday. Their food was amazing; highly recommend the Dragon Roll, its great! Got to admit though, their service wasnt all that great, but....our waiter gave us free fried ice-cream for the horrible service, and he admitted to it. Their dessert was even amazing! Just simply amazing! I would love to go again.

Food was fresh. Japanese folk come there to eat so that was a good sign. Liked the ambience and authenticity. Run by good sushi chefs. Nice lunch spot. Bento Box 5 salmon cutlet, gyoza, soba noodles, salad, rice, California roll, crunchy string beans, and saki $14. Attentive wait staff.

Excellent and authentic food, service and atmosphere. Kay-san, our server was very courteous and willing to explain but not overly verbose. Miso soup was just the right saltiness (most places make theirs too salty or boils down). Sushi platter for two was beautiful and delicious.

Highly recommend this place. Food is awesome and staff the best. Debra is super nice and professional. After ordering my spicy tuna roles and chicken tempura roll. She noticed me all exhusted from a run that she offered me water. The best!
