Ive eaten here twice, both times with large groups. The first time, the owner was there and sent out their best dishes and they were very good. The second time some of the dishes were overly sweet, but we enjoyed ourselves. Get the Miang Kana, its a Thai street food dish of pork, lime chillies, etc. Its fun to eat wrapped in Chinese broccoli leaves. Their basil pork is very good. Be aware that their curries are hot!

Ploy Thai is in Elmhurst and really easy to get to right off of the N train. Their food is so spicy you will think you are in Thailand. Go for the Jungle Curry and they will be skeptical if you can withstand the heat. It is only for the brave. For something different, order the Miang Khanal which is the Thai version of lettuce wraps.

Just recently renovated the place. Nice and clean which is a A plus for a small restaurent in Queens. Much much nicer and cleaner and well organized. I got spacial noodles with pork belly in star annis broth. Super delicious. Recommended for everyone. Reasonable price with big portion. Love it. Love it. Love it. Totally satisfied.

Spicy food, large portions, service with a smile! Cant say that about many restaurants in NYC. Papaya seafood salad was wonderfully crisp and fresh, curries were spicy and flavorful. Best Thai food this side of Thailand. Tables are a bit cramped though. Best to order take out.

You can use your Discover card in here. Which is rare in Elmhurst restaurants. Clean and nice dinning environment would surely make your meal a pleasurable one. Besides all that. The food is also as good as their service.
