Reading through other reviews, the only thing I can say is at least they are consistent. After being seated we sat for 5 minutes before drink our order was taken. After 5 more minutes another server came and took our drink order again - mass confusion and they werent busy at all. Table was dirty, my place mat had syrup on it, and the silverware was very loosely wrapped. Asked for extra napkins that never came, went to go get them on my own and saw a huge dirty knife just sitting on the counter (picture below). Poor family sat down next to us and waited 12 minutes before they were even greeted!! When service is this terrible for the customer it really makes you wonder how great of a job the folks cooking your food are doing following sanitary guidelines where no one sees them. Asked for water twice, never came. Asked for more coffee 3 times to get 1 refill. It took 32 freaking minutes to get breakfast food!! The manager brought out our food.... which was cold... and said "not sure what I have here, whos is this?" No apology. It was almost like they were trying to be absolutely terrible. My eggs tasted like a stick of butter. On the way out, used the restroom.... paper towel dispensers empty in the mens room with paper towels sitting in a puddle of water. My wife went to the womens room and all 3 stalls had no toilet paper!! Would you trust these people cooking your food?? AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Eh, it was ok waitress was very slow getting to us 10 minutes had passed my wife went up to the manager and complained, waitress was very apologetic no banana bread had to settle for biscuits, food was Eh had better at other bob evans place was dirty, went to use the mens room exhaust fan was either off or broke someone pinched one off totally foul !!! You people in Dunkirk stink!!!ceiling tiles are dirty the place over all is dirty Waitresses are very lackadaisical Was in several years back when Bob Evans originally owned the chain new management group golden something or other running them into the ground even the ones here in Pittsburgh pa arent what they used to be, ole Bob Evans and family are spinning in their graves just a matter of time before they go by the wayside as Sears and Kmart Bob Evans had good meat loaf took that off the menu Waitresses were rough looking showing their tattoos, also some of the waitresses talk way to much dont want to hear about your personal life where you are going to school and dads Buick

Were there on a Sunday morning. Were seated promptly. Our drinks brought over and ordered our meal. After an hour wait I finally flagged down our waitress and asked about our meal,every one except us was getting served. She said she had told her manager. I had ordered egg over biscuit with gravy and cheddar cheese,my husband ordered a country breakfast. They brought to my order with home fries that were visibly burned, my husband received two eggs and two biscuits. I asked for the manager who did set it right (his home fries were burned too) . We had to ask for more coffee and water, no one asked us. They did comp our meals, but I wont go back.There needs to be better training ,this was all avoidable and never should have happened.

Starting with the service, Bad, terrible, awful. Negligent. Seems they value their regulars over other customers. Halfway through our meal, our waitress dropped off our check and told us she was going on break, never to return. We had to go find someone to help us. Manager never left her friends even though I made eye contact several times. The food was soggy and flavor-less. At the same time, other items were burned. Coffee.was bitter but they didnt refill our cups anyway. It was an all around failure to meet any sort of standard and I do not recommend this location. Yuck. Gross. We should not have paid. My parents still tipped because they are sweet and caring, but I feel we were treated so poorly that I will never go back.

We stopped in for breakfast at 11am. It wasnt very busy and it took over 7min for any waitress to come over and even say hello once we were sat. We ordered immediatly once someone came, and it took over 40min to get our food. We both ordered scrambled eggs with sausage/bacon and toast. When the food came it looked as if it had been sitting out awhile. We asked for buttered toast, and it came unbuttered. One of the meals was suppose to come with sliced tomatoes and they were missing completely. I would not recommend this Bob Evans.

I recommend the Bob Evans Burger with Egg, bacon, and cheese obviously with a beef patty. It was amazing. Did take a while to get to-go containers and the check, but staff was very friendly and polite. The restaurant was appealing enough to get my wifes grandma out of her house after losing some mobility and being forced to stay in her home for the last couple of weeks. It made the entire family happy I think to be out together.

Wonderful experience! We were seated right away and given menus to look over. After a few minutes our waitress came and apologized because it took a little longer than expected, there was a mix up in who was going to take our order. But we felt it was a fair amount of time. Our food was excellent. Two of us ordered the 3-course meal, our waitress gave us an extra helping because of our wait. Awesome experience!!

I dont know what has happened in Fredonia but we use to get wonderful service and now you wait forever. We waited 50 minutes before being served our breakfast. Our waitress was embarrassed and offered to pay for our meal which we declined. I believe the fault lies in management. Many people have told me that the service has really gone down hill once again a management problem not the servers.

Common theme going here. The service at Bob Evans Fredonia is absolutely pathetic. Ive been to many Bob Evans in many states and this one by far is the worst. These folks arent just bad servers. They are bad people. Im looking forward to contacting corporate offices. These folks should be unemployed for their poor treatment of a handicapped woman.

Service was not good, but could have been worst. Food was pretty bad. Our waitress was friendly, the others were not. Got normal sausage instead of Turkey and hashbrowns instead of home fries. Couple next to us left, new couple came in 10 minutes later, they got their food and left before we started eating. Marginal experience, will not return.

Terrible experience! We should have left when the host dropped our menus on a chair and scurried off leaving us standing in the middle of the restaurant. After a different host sat us finally, we had to ask for silverware when our food arrived. Then to top it off I received the wrong order. We will never be back.

Mostly good. Dont go on a Sunday morning- the service is slow and awful. I had to remind the server to bring what the menu dictated the meal came with. We had nearly no refills and it took 30 min to get our food. We also have been completely ignored in the past coming here after being seated. Proceed with caution.
