I will never step foot in this place again. I am a Jamaican food aficionado – been to tons and tons of Jamaican restaurants - and have to say this is the worst place I’ve been. I was excited to finally have a Jamaican place near my home, but that excitement is gone now. First time that I went: no one there! I stood at the counter for 15 minutes and no one showed up! Second time that I went: terrible curry goat. They should rename it “allspice goat”. Third time that I went: I gave it another try. Still terrible curry (allspice) goat. Fourth time that I went: I walked in with my wife and son, just off the road from a long trip for my birthday and very hungry. I knew I wouldn’t get the curry goat – obviously – which sucks because curry goat is my favorite meal. So I figured let me get the oxtail. That’s my second favorite. But, of course, I am skeptical now because I feel like I wasted money on their awful curry goat the last two times I came to this place. So I tell the young man behind the counter that I’d like to try a tiny piece of the oxtail before I order it. You should have seen the look on his face! He said that the chef doesn’t allow anyone to sample the food first. I explained my previous experiences and that I just want a very small piece to make sure that I like it. He went back into the kitchen and 2 minutes later returned and told me the chef said no. I absolutely hate bad curry goat but I hate terrible business people even more. Let’s just think about what this idiot chef (who I assume is the owner) did. 1) He pissed off a potential customer who was already unhappy from previous experiences. 2) He pissed off a potential customer who came in to order three meals. 3) He made it clear that he doesn’t care if you like his product because all he wants to do is make a sale. 4) Instead of trying to make an unhappy customer happy and get future business he lost that customer’s business that day and forever and now has the whole story being posted on the internet! All over a tiny piece of meat the size of a dime or smaller! Well, that was it for me. I took my family and we left. And we will never go there again. I know the curry goat is bad, but now I must assume the oxtail is too. But the nail in the coffin is having to deal with an ignorant novice business owner who clearly has no concern whether you like his food or not; he just wants your money. Anyone from the area knows that this building has seen many restaurants come and go. I’m sure this one will be going away soon, too.

In the peekskill lower Hudson valley area. This spot is a treat for all. From the fan favorite Jerk Chicken to Ox tail stew and the island favorite Ackee and saltfish it will sure to please your tastebuds and satisfy your belly. Great place for Take Out or dine in. And it turns out they do catering as well! Definitely if youre in the area stop by!... And if its good, Stop by often! And its still winning! There is enough people to feed in Hudson Valley. They just want peopls to come eat good home cooking!

Excellent, quality food made from scratch. Fantastic pricing and friendly service. Staff is pleasant and courteous and the location is well lit and inviting. Ive been there numerous times in a short span, so much so that the staff is familiar with my face. Highly recommend if youre in the area looking for delicious, affordable Caribbean cuisine.

The absolute worst Jamaican food I have ever had in my life. The rice tasted burnt and had absolutely no flavor. The stew chicken tasted like two nights ago. I mean...it literally tasted like it was left out for two nights in a row. Just horrible. Do not eat from here folks. Save your money. Thank me later.

Quality authentic Caribbean food. Very friendly owners who actually grow the seasonings and some vegetables in back of the restaurant so the food is more fresh and tasty

Me and my friend found this place 3 years ago . We drive up 40 min from Yonkers because the food is so great . The owners are very welcoming And gracious ! A must try !
