We dined at Bangkok Spice on 1/9/15. It was not a pleasant experience. I asked for water with lemon on the side. The women working in there gave me a lemon in my water. I then asked for extra lemon and she told me "We dont do that, we dont give extra lemon". I said with a smile "please" and she was taken aback from me asking. She went into the kitchen and got a serving dish and gave me ONE slice of lemon. I proceeded to order my meal. I ordered Lunch special #1 (L1) and Thai Basil Fried Rice. I looked at my daughter and said "You know what you want?" The waiter looked at me and said "You already ordered 2 items". As if I cannot order more than one item. My daughter proceeds to order. The food comes and to keep a long story short.(because that was not the only ill treatment that we received during this dining experience) The food was not great. The Thai Basil Fried was "extra" spicy. I could not eat it. The other dishes that were ordered were not up to par either. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE -- AT ANYTIME -- ON ANY LEVEL!!

This restaurant is a gem in the wilderness. Id go out of my way for their food. I had peanut chicken: delicious breast of chicken on bed of saffron rice, with Thai peanut sauce. My wife had mango curry: chicken and shrimp with bell peppers, zucchini and mango in an incredible coconut milk-based sauce. Prices are reasonable. Dont forget dessert. I had green-tea ice cream, but last time, I had mango with sweet rice. Yum!

Not sure why this place gets good reviews. I will only trust to order the most basic rice/noodle dishes here. Their chicken is sometimes a little rubbery-ie: their satay-5the sauce is good but the chicken isnt. They are really just not that good but they are the only show in town. The place also seems somewhat neglected. They try to keep it clean but never clean enough not too look shabby. Mediocre at their best.

Im not getting the hype. This place is fine. The service is friendly and professional, and the food is fine -- just nothing special. The spring rolls were good but the chicken pad thai was extremely average -- basically bucket shop Asian food. Next up was the chicken cashew nut -- watery and disappointing. Chewy bland chicken floats in a watery pond, with a handful of burned cashews sprinkled on top.

not of this place. Given that ive only eaten here once. Id like to think that a thai restaurant could be judged by their pad thai, because its one of the more popular thai dishes. i got their lunch special chicken pad thai and wasnt impressed. maybe two decent size pieces of chicken and was very bland in flavor. I would like to give this place another try, maybe for dinner and try their currys.

I always take all of the reviews with a grain of salt, that being said unfortunately the chef does not use any.I agree with the person below who says the food is awful, the chicken is cheap and loaded with gristle, the cashew nut chicken, even having"chili paste" was absolutely flavorless, the kee mow noodle was decent but horrendously over cooked. Never again, sorry bangkok spice.

The curry from here is AMAZING! I love this place, I dont understand why some people write such shite reviews for it. I eat here all the time bc I am local and the owners are wonderfully nice, albeit a bit intimidating, and the food is delicious. The only thing is the salads arent very good. So just dont eat any salad. Curry and noodles are the way to go.

Meh. We saw the 23 Zagat rating and decided to make the trek. The appetizers were quite good, so we were expecting a great meal, but the main courses were not very good. Lacked the flavor that one expects from Thai. I wouldnt go back, and wouldnt recommend this over other places in Westchester, such as Swadee down in Hawthorne.

Bangkok Spice is small but its food makes up for that by consistently being top notch. Ive never been disappointed, every new dish I try is always outstanding. Plus the service is great with warm personalities and keen attention trying to serve you the best thai food in Westchester.

I love this restaurant. The tom Kha soup tastes just like it did in Thailand. The owners and staff are so nice and make the experience more enjoyable. They have a large menu and everything is delicious! I highly recommend them for a good dinner. They do take out, as well.

really great thai food in northern westchester. Not much in the area to compare it to, but this place really does bring a nice fresh change to the asian food scene up here. Really great curries and noodles. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

It was awesome. The peanut sauce is delicious. THE pad thai, spring rolls and were just wonderful! My family enjoys it very much. Children get to draw on the tables. The waiters are really nice. Only a few times I got bad service. Enchanting!

I wanted to like this place because I enjoy Thai.. However, that wasnt the case. I got the kee mow noodle dish with chicken, and although it did have good flavor, the noodles were rubbery and the chicken was very cheap tasting and chewy

This place has great food for great prices. Seriously super cheap! There are a lot of options for vegetarians. The atmosphere is very calming also. If you like coconut definitely try the coconut pudding - its excellent!
