If I wrote this the first week that they were opened I would have given them four stars. The food and service was good. My husband and I have been back five more times, and its going down hill rapidly. There is a bus girl who appears annoyed anytime we ask for anything. A few times we had a waitress who doesnt understand English at all and kept bringing us the wrong things. She was very sweet so we gave up correcting her. Today I ordered pancakes (which I have had several times and enjoyed them). Today it was tasteless and started to taste like rubber. It must have been microwaved, YUCK. I asked for extra crispy bacon. It came very greasy, not at all crispy and extremely fatty. I sent it back and it came back ok. Good waitress today but crabby bus girl who rolled her eyes when we asked to see our waitress. Everytime I visited this diner, I ordered tea. Not once has the waitress asked if I wanted more hot water. My husband plans to post his own review. We soooooo looked forward to this diner opening. Sadly, my husband and I wont be back, nor will we recommend to family and friends. If you happen to eat gluten free dont even ask for gluten free bread, I was told that they wont be getting it. Pastels will remain our favorite in the area. Theyre very friendly, good food and gluten free bread, yes, refills on tea.

Food is always delicious and the staff has always been wonderful. Tonight however was a little different. I was paying my bill at the front desk- the tall, caucasion gentleman with glasses (who is there often) was taking payment from me. He was cracking jokes and commented on our choice of dessert agreeing that it was a very good choice- very likeable and pleasant. I paid with a card and signed the bill and handed it back to him. I left the "tip" section blank because I left cash on the table for my server. As my friend and I were walking out, the door slowly closing behind us as were exiting the restaurant, he pointed to us and turned to the kitchen area and yelled "they left no tip!". Extremely rude considering A. the tip was on the table, B. he does not know me or my financial status and C. we hadnt even fully walked out of the restaurant yet. I dont think his intention was for us to hear him, and Im not going to say Im perfect and havent made comments to a coworker at my own job before about a customer.. but at least wait til were out of the building. Gave 5 stars for the food and the usual great experience.. But Im very insulted by the comment made tonight.

Food was good, it just opened and we had a new waiter took a while for anyone to come to our table once we were brought to our booth. Sadly the caveman burger is no longer offered on the menu. There is the Taconic burger...a burger sandwitched between 2 grilled cheese topped with bacon and onions that was pretty decent. They are definitely experiencing some growing pains hopefully they work them out.

I stopped by Saturday for dinner and I ordered the prime rib. It was one of the best I ever had,very tenter, seasoning to perfection with very tasty roast potatoes and grilled vegetables. Excellent service and very friendly staff. From want I understand the place is under new management,clean and bright. I enjoy it very much.

Outstanding everything. We had a small gathering after our daughters funeral and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. The manager Joe is extremely kind, as are the owners, and everything was wonderful. Great food, great service - I highly recommend this place. Thank you to everyone at the 202 Diner.

Ive had two breakfast entrees ad both were excellent. The Gyro and Eggs were simply awesome. The next time I had their Steak and Eggs and I thought Id fallen in love. Ive had birth dishes several times now and Id recommend both dishes. If pushed, I would take the Steak and Eggs...lol.

Maybe it was just a bad day of fighting traffic; but we found the diner pricey, the service okay, but the people distracting and loud. The food wasnt great, but we were hungry and eager to get back on the road. It is clean and well lit, but pricey without having great food.

Since re-opening the food is so fresh and deliciouse. Staff are regulars and very nice. Its a nice breath of fresh air in the diner area but I didnt have any problem with it before. UPDATE: cashier was very rude, so only 4 stars now.

We had breakfast. The service and the food was very good. I has two eggs with home fries and toast. My daughter had a pulled pork skillet. It was huge. We also ordered a garden skillet was was good too. I am definitely coming back.

Very good food and seasoned well. Every plate of food I have ordered hear I noticed is always fresh ingredients not like other places that will sub for canned items. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

They have work to do. You cannot keep getting breakfast wrong at a diner--cold eggs and fries. It is bright and clean so Ill try it again, but not right away.
