Had a nice breakfast together with my sister. She ordered an egg white omelet with bacon & tomato that was not only huge but was also nicely prepared. I had 2 scrambled w/cheddar...nothing special, but delicious nonetheless. Service was friendly, on the spot and the whole thing came to under $20. Altogether, a nice experience and Id gladly suggest YCD to anyone!!!

I live around the area but this was the first time we went there. Thumbs up for the delicious food & a lot of choices on the menu ,the serving of food was fantastic. The diner itself was clean and presentable. The staff is so friendly to everyone and very accomodating. Although its kinda bit pricey, but all in all the food experience was great!

Just compared to other local diners in the Hudson Valley, this is a dud. The food is sufficient and underwhelming for the high price you pay. I live in Beacon, this diner is successful because of its location and parking, thats it. On a plus, its clean inside and the staff is friendly.

We felt the value for the food at our particular breakfast was not a good one. $40 for eggs and oatmeal for three people felt excessive. The $7 charge for a side of steamed spinach with over the top. Smoked salmon was old and fishy. Coffee was burnt.

My favorite Diner EVER! Great Staff, food and specials, and more. Their soups are to die for and my favorite is the Greek Lemon Chicken Soup (served on Fridays). Roasted Chicken is the best entree and the best sandwich is the Main Street Panini

Great local diner. Closes a bit early for my taste so call ahead for hours. The service is perfect and the food although very good is exactly what you would expect from any other diner in NY. Great variety too and great deserts.

Great little diner with well priced meals. Nothing to write home about but everything is worth what you pay and the staff us super fast and friend. Perfect family spot, you wont get hosed on the bill.
