OMG by far the worst Diner I have eaten at.The waiter had zero personality to start. He also seem to be in a rush making me feel uneasy right from the beginning. My wife ordered an open face turkey dinner that was served without any vegetable and the mashed potatoes were old looking and extremely dried up. I asked the waiter why my wife;s meal did not come with a vegetable his answer was "its late you know" ahhhh yes but this is an all night diner HELLO! As if it could not get any worse an employee started sweeping around my feet followed by another with a wet mop that left a strong odor of Pine Sol and a very wet floor. When I went to pay i told the owner about my dining experience and he proceeded to defend his staff for there actions. I told the owner that defending his staff when they were clearly wrong just makes the matter much worse. The owner then started to argue with me and I had to ask him to please not argue with me at which point he denied arguing and argued worse with me. I had to just walk away. I bet if I or my wife had fallen on his soaking wet floor he would have been the nicest human being on earth to us. I will never patron the place again nor will i order out there ever! I am being generous giving it one star!

My family and I have been going here for a while now.at least once a week. Usually for dinner. The food is ok . Its close to our house. Tonight we went and I wasnt all that hungry. My daughter had a pasta dish and I had some of it. When we got the bill there was a $3.50 charge on it for sharing. Now I have been a waitress myself and done the dinner shift. And I know if you share a meal there is a charge. But you also get a extra soup, salad, potato or veg . We didnt get that. Nor did we want it. But because I had asked for an extra plate we were charged. Im not one to complain but this is just insane. I asked the guy why there would be an extra charge when we got nothing extra. and he started yelling he had such an attitude. He wouldnt even listen to what I had to say.I will never go back there again. Greed is a terrible thing.guess they wanted that $3.50 more that the $80 plus we dropped there at least once a week.

This is a classic Greek N.Y. diner. great food, great service, anytime, and great breath of food types on the menu. How do they store all that different food and cook it on demand? I dont know how they do it. We have had co-workers from Colorado come in and be totally blown away that at 10PM at night they could order virtually anything. They have never seen anything like that out west. I love the seafood bisque (just make sure you tell them extra hot and steamy) and the swordfish; friends of ours travel 20 miles from the south shore just for their lamb specials. (And return with plenty of extra food for lunch the next day!) Its a Commack landmark for breakfast, lunch , dinner or late night snack(24 hours a day)

I work an overnight shift and order here once a week. I have always had a great experience. The food is high quality and the servers are excellent. I suggest the Chicken Souvlaki platter. Nice sized portions and wonderful ingredients. Since I always pick up my food, I have never actually eaten AT the diner, but I assume it would be even better! Best diner around Hauppauge/Smithtown area IMO.

One of the rare places in the neighborhood that are open 24 hours. Went to this place twice. Though the waitress looked tired and exhausted but the food was decent. Tried their pancakes, curly fries, and the chocolate shake. Their chocolate pancake was good but I didnt quite like their chocolate shake. Overall its a good place to go specially when its the only place open around

Great stop for food anytime. Breakfast & Lunch menus have a lot to choose from. Dinner specials are a full old fashioned meal with a salad, soup, entre, dessert & coffee. You will always bring some home. Wait staff is quick and accurate as well as very friendly. Late night is a must after shopping or bowling, which is across the street.

Its "candlelight". A classic place that everyone in Commack has been to many times. I have ordered their chocolate chip pancakes almost every visit for the past 15 years and they are still awesome. My family says that the rest of the menu is great, so Ill take their word for it. Also, the pasta salad is out of this world ridiculous.

Do not eat at this restaurant!!! I know the cleaning supplier who works with this restaurant and he said the owner has never bought one cleaning supply in all the years hes owned it!! Not to mention my waitress brought me my food and was touching my sandwich with her BLACKER THAN BLACK FINGERNAILS!! do yourself a favor and stay away.

The family and I come here for breakfast alot on the weekends. They have good service and food. Weekend around breakfast time is pretty crowded but the wait isnt too bad since there are lots of tables and they serve pretty quickly. Very rarely do we come here for dinner, but when we do...the pasta salad is great.

This is the worst diner experience I have ever had, the service is slow, and ill equipt to provide anything to the patrons. The food is sub par, to say the least and the atmosphere is dirty and unkempt... Being a commack native makes me ashamed to have this diner in my backyard... Wheres the health department?

Really gone down hill. The lox was not so fresh last time. Spanish omelette is scrambled eggs with tomato sauce dumped on top. And management clearly doesnt care if your satisfied or not. "How was Everything?" "I was a little disappointed." "Oh. Have a good day."

Food way overpriced compared to other diners. The food wasnt the best either. The waitress forgot our drinks and salad dressing, cheese and avocado for burger, cheese for salad. It was an ok service, she needs to write things down. She said we were her only table.

A very good diner. A bit expensive but portions are large so if you can take some home price drops in half. Parking is easy. My wifes fish dinner was very good. I had open faced turkey, which is my favorite, and that was good. Not the best but a 7 out of 10.

This diner is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The food is always prepared fresh and the service is usually good. Its a nice place to grab a quick bite at late night or a really good home cooked breakfast. Im certain if you visit you will not be disappointed.

Home fries very bland and dry (a mystery how they got the fries to be dry). Butter on toast had a funny taste and smell. They do have good sized portion for an affordable price. But within 1.5 hrs of eating there I was on the toilet regretting that decision.
