The daily and weekend special dinners are always outstanding. It is all home cooked food... On weekends, they have a great, large prime rib dinner with soup and a large salad... You can get "The Venus" anytime - a large, real roast beef sub with melted cheese, served with fries and a cup of real au jus for dipping, to make it beautiful... Reasonable prices... Fantastic, experienced waitresses. It does get crowded, people love the place for years, like myself... Have a little patience, and you will be pleased...

My girlfriend and I live in Oregon but visit my Mother in Connecticut every year and take her to the Galaxy Diner at least once each trip. The food is great, the portions are big and the service is always friendly and attentive. They even remember me each year when I come-back to visit. The Galaxy Diner is one of my favorite diners in the United States.

Popular diner with a wide variety of menu options. Food is consistently good. Service is reasonably fast and always friendly. Favorite sandwich choices are the avacado BLT, Steak wrap and the "late night burger" - which includes lettuce, tomato, bacon plus a fried egg and a spicy sauce on the side. Quite good!

Not impressed at all , I asked for over easy eggs and I got well fried eggs, waitress brought out wrong order ,when she brought out the right order she had the wrong toast , The steak was one of toughest steaks I ever had ( Im not sure but I dont think yours jaws should be hurting after you have a steak)

Ive been coming to this diner for 30 years, the staff is always pleasant, and the food is always good! When I bring my adult daughters, the owner comments.. I remember them when they were babies. Nice to have somewhere to come and enjoy and have fond memories. Thank you Galaxy Diner!

Ive been going almost every Sunday for the past 10 or so years. I love it. The wait staff knows our order. My brother likes a lot of whipped cream on his hot chocolate, so they bring him an extra cup full. Theyre always smiling and friendly, and the owner is such a great guy.

Use to go there all the time and would give 5 stars, went today food was not what it use to be. Pancakes were flat not fluffy and bland, Omelet was the same and not that tasty, and so was the french toast. Will not be going back, better off going to Chips Family Restaurant.

Litteraly have been going to the galexy since I was born. Family atmosephere. I love the workers they are always nice. They do big group get togethers. The food is never less than amazing! And lots of food on one plate! Well worth the cost.

We found this place by accident, we were looking "the Chicken sandwich place " around there and we found it, the owner greeted us with a smile and offered to pick for us, boy was he right, best hot dog I aver had a the beer was awesome.

The cheese fries were french fries with 2 pieces of cheese melted on top. the steak tasteless and the eggs were not cooked correctly. As always rude service and the owner judt says they has been there for 40 years

Got a greek omelette add onions and it was $10.65. Pretty pricey. Was ok. Asked to substitute a small side of coleslaw in leu of potatoes and toast. DENIED. waitress was a sweetheart though. Prob wont stop again.
