I order from this place all the time because it is very close to where I work. I am pleasant with the delivery guys and I always tip well so I am very upset that I have to write this bad review. I order through GrubHub and on this particular day I ordered a breakfast wrap with no tomatoes. Thats it. NO TOMATOES. This may not seem like too much for most but I am allergic. So once I get my wrap of course I am very disappointed that not only were there tomatoes but it looked like there were extra!! So first I call GrubHub to simply get a re order. They were unable to get a re order and simply refunded my money. So I order something else from the diner and called after I ordered to make sure they got it right. I was met with so much attitude! Mind you I had been at work for two hours already and had not eaten. Then I had to wait another 45 minutes for my new order to come. Gave three stars because this is only the second time I received my order wrong and Im placing part of the blame of this debacle on GrubHub.

Royal dump.. Rip off. Rude staff. Older gentleman in front with apron to be specific.. My girlfriend was going shopping near by so she went in royal dinner and ordered some bacon and eggs and a cereal to go. After paying she realized she needed milk for the cereal and asked the gentleman who helped her if he can put a little milk in her cereal, after putting a very small amount of milk in the cereal he tells her thats an additional $3.00. Not like $3.00 is big money but for the small amount of milk he put thats b.s. he was rude and condescending..

If you have any interest in eating at a classic diner, Royal Restaurant is just the place. The food is prepared to order and the prices are low considering the portions. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Perhaps the biggest attraction to this place is the feeling of stepping back in time and witnessing the local regulars as they come and go. The staff seemed to know them all by first name!

I changed my mind about this place... the noise level is deafening. Staff bang up the dishes so loudly and shake the dirty dish container to flatten out the container to fit more into it before they remove it and laugh at the noise level they create. They blast the music so conversation is impossible. The food is passable but noise is ridiculous

Theres this controlling fear of a manager or owner towards the employees, its painful to watch, and guess what the food tastes the same, my bread was burnt with a hint of butter, potentially at direct direction of said boss who must manage the butter portions. The food and attitude sucks. My eggs were more runny than raw.

Superburger deluxe with cheese and bacon. I eat burgers everywhere. This is the best. Hands down. And the nicest people anywhere. Royal is the place.
