Visited Cardinal the other morning with friends for breakfast and what a wonderful surprise. Greeted by a most friendly staff; the place is just adorable - so comfortable. I had the Weird Hash, and friends had other choices. Well, this was just the best - an infusion of delightful tastes and herbs; and the polenta waffle with friend chicken I tasted was just out of the world. Went back the other day for lunch and the burger was the best with real fried potatoes, not from a zip-lock. Afterward we took home some of their Xioxu (spelling) -- to die for; took me back to homemade donuts in Pennsylvania Dutch county but were filled with just a bit of lemon filling and dusted with sugar and cinnamon . Love this place and as I said, the staff is the most friendly around. See ya later...

Ambiance is excellent. Its bright, and welcoming. It provides a vibe thats perfect for starting your day. Menus change a bit seasonally. Everything Ive ever had here is DELICIOUS! Coffe is spot on. Servers are pleasant, attentive, and overall great at their jobs. There may be a wait on the weekends, but its worth it! Just run over to Brickwall and grab a bloody mary while your waiting your turn for Cardinal.

Great Brunch I can say that the food here was excellent. We ordered the chicken and waffles, hash ready, polenta waffles and spicy deviled eggs. All of them were seasoned properly and tasted good. Great brunch location. But make reservations as the wait is extremely long.

Great place for breakfast would have been better if we knew it was a BYOB. Portions were perfect for sharing. Definitely try the pastry of the day. It seems to be a busy place as it filled up 20 minutes after opening.

Wonderful experience. We came here based on a recommendation from a local resident we met at the parking meter machine. The food is fantastic, the service is outstanding. Great location and ambiance.
