WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! I had called and placed an order for a pasta dinner. I asked for penne with oil garlic chicken and broccoli. I had gotten my food home only to find out that they gave me penne alla vodka. I am lactose intolerant and there was cheese in the dish. I called and spoke to a woman and told her my food was wrong. She told me they would make my food right, I could come pick it up, and they would give me a refund. When I got to the store I spoke to a man, he told me that this was what I ordered and he would not refund me. After explaining that I spoke to someone and was told my food would be right and I would be refunded he walked into the back talked to someone I believe a woman, probably the one I had spoken to, and then came out. He pulled my aside to tell me that he could not and wouldnt remake my food. So I asked for a full refund. I was then told that "they dont do refunds." I left with no money and no food.

I will never set foot in that mean, rude, NY attitude diner again. Arrived at around 11:30am on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd. As we were waiting to be seated, I noticed a patrons plate with Shredded Hash Browns! They looked delicious. The guy that seated us appeared to be bothered and preoccupied. He tossed the menus down and mumbled, enjoy. Our waitress arrived and got us beverages. About 10 minutes passed and she took our order. *> I ordered eggs, bacon but asked about the Hash Browns. She said we have Home Fries. I said I saw Hash Browns. She said we dont have them! I said, I saw them on that womans plate! Waitress said, that was a special order! I got Home Fries with onions. Thats why I gave 3☆.

I kept the floor of my barn where I kept 5 horses cleaner than their floors. Just imagine how dirty the kitchen must be if they dont clean the floor directly in front of the front door, for what looked lIke for months at a time. Unfortunately didnt realize until I was on my way out. Also, they charged my card 2 dollars more than what I wrote on the bill. I dont know how you make that mistake. Do not go here

One of the best diners in Kingston. The fresh baked cheesecakes are the best in the area. Good comfort food and excellent soups. We have been going there for 8 years and we never had a bad meal. Its run by a really great local family that cares about the quality of food and a value priced complete meal. We travel a lot and its on our top 10 places to eat in the Northeast.

Everything Ive ever eaten here has been fantastic with super generous portions! Its my moms favorite place to eat out of anywhere in Kingston, NY. The staff and waitresses/waiters are superb, so nice....I love this place. Some of my fondest memories have occurred at this site. ♡♡

Food is great. This looks to be a higher end restaurant but with the provocative clothes that a couple of girls wear it almost makes it seem a bit sleezy. Even though food is amazing they dont ask if you want dessert, which i dont understand beings that their selection is grand.

The biggest diner in Kingston continues to hold its own. Many places with such a prominent location and building will simply stop trying once theyve reached a fair level of success. This place has been around for decades and it remains a legitimately good diner.

Staff was rude and unprofessional to me and my spouse. Food was good. Staff was horrible. Manager even confronted us about the tip, because of the bad service only a small tip was left and he was extremely rude. Tips are earned not guaranteed.

party i was with found a piece of hair in his food. he brought it back to the front, the manager proceed to come to our table and pretty much call him a liar that what he found wasnt hair. instead of apologizing he accrued. not good business.

This is *the* go to place in Kingston for great diner food. French fries always cooked to crisp perfection. Homefries always tasty and compliments every breakfast item. Pancakes always fluffy. Heck writing this review makes me want some now!

This is my go-to diner, whether it is for breakfast/lunch/dinner with the family, takeout during a busy work day, or meeting up with friends. The best pancakes (says my 9 year old) the best sweet potato fries, the BEST REUBENS. WE LOVE KVD!

Easily my favorite diner in to area. Its large and has a good, varied menu. Unfortunately Im not there enough to know the staff well but last time I went our waitress was very welcoming. I recommend it for a quick late night bite.

The Kings Valley Diner is not your typical dining car greasy spoon, its really more of a family restaurant. I appreciate the salads that are built on real mixed greens, not on typical diner iceberg lettuce. Clean, modern interior.
