India House is a gem in Crown Heights, but it might be one of the better Indian restaurants in the city. Always delicious food and super friendly staff. I always do takeout, and judging from the lack of folks in the dining room, I would say thats most of their business. But they do have a large, straightforward dining room for table service. I recommend the lamb biryani or the chana saag.

When i entered here it was empty but as time goes by people started come in. All of a sudden the restaurant is full now. I am waiting for my food for 20 minutes now. ......waiting . Ok food is here. It is worth waiting . Everything is delicious. I liked the atmosphere by the way

We happened across this gem next to our hotel in Brooklyn after flight from Los Angeles. Flavors popped on the chicken biryani and tikka masala! Even my wife who grew up in India thought it was fabulous.

The staff is very friendly, My husband and I had to wait a while for the food. However it was worth the wait. Food was delicious, and fresh for all lamb lovers Shark lamb is the way to go.

Even though the decoration and smell might scare you, excellent food and roti are here. Make sure to get a Lasso to help cope with the spicy temps
