This place has seen better days. I have frequented this restaurant for the last 10 years. Recently, they changed management and things went downhill. The service is slow, the food is worse than mediocre, and the place is unclean. I thought they were just having a bad day the last time I was here and decided to come back to give then another try. Let me list the problems we encountered with this last visit: it took 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order (it was 4:30pm on a Sunday); 3 of us were dining and none of the food came out together; there was hair in my food; my sautéed mixed veggies were swimming in oil; my daughters miso soup was full of soy sauce. Sadly, its the end of an era for Chance. Spend your dining dollars elsewhere.

For the most part we enjoyed our meals(duck, two flavor shrimp, garlic broccoli, orange chicken and short ribs) and drinks. The shorts ribs were dry, asked for extra sauce. The attitude completely changed. Was told it would be an additional $2-3 for additional sauce. After discussing the dryness of the ribs and requesting another dish (with a 50% charge for the ribs), they were informed that we are staying at hotel that recommend this restaurant. The waitress decided to give us more sauce without a charge. There was no need for this drama!

Nice find! Boyfriend was in the mood for Chinese but I was in the mood for a romantic location. Small yet charming. Great prices, amazing quality and great service. This is also the first time Ive seen a Caipirinha on a drink menu (and it was authentically made)!! I got the Tofu and Eggplant and he got the Filet Mignon. We also got edamame and dumplings as appetizers. We were both extremely satisfied!

Dont do it. Waited 40 minutes for lunch with only 6 people eating in the whole place. People that came in after were served first. My food was first sent to the wrong table and then was incorrect anyway. Crispy chicken was slimy limp Chicken. Dumplings were under cooked and cold, spring roll was over cooked and tasteless. Abort!

They have everything here. Great food, crowd here is so awesome, the owner is one of the nicest and elegant person you will ever meet. If you are looking to meet someone and have great convo or want to have a great first date, tbis is the place. In 5yrs this place will be a 5 star restaurant. Jimmy come to Coney island please!!!!

This place is the best restaurant ever ! Five star service from everyone who works there ! Took my girlfriend there for her birthday and they treated her like a Queen! What more could anyone ask for. Will always recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Thai food and excellent service!

Their happy hour runs from Sunday until Thursday (4:00 p.m. until closing)! Its the best happy hour on Smith street. The food and service are consistantly good. Their prices are very reasonable.

Dont let the eurotrash club vibe in the front fool you. This place rules. Ive never had a bad dish and they deliver food like clockwork. My secret weekend hangover cure is this place.

Always a favorite! A great value. Never been disappointed. Spinach and duck salad! Foie gras dim sum! Fish, beef, steak! They always satisfy. (Even my picky daughter)
