This diner was close so I ordered through seemless. The restaurant never sent a confirmation for the order as directed on seemless so I called to make sure they received my order. This was the beginning of an annoyance through out the evening. I called and spoke to who ever answered the phone to be received with snarky remarks and nasty attitude about whether my order registered. To then be told they are busy and he hung up. An hour later the delivery still wasnt made so I called again same nasty person answering the calls. He said the food is on the way. My mother lives 4 blocks from this restaurant. Now another 30 minutes pass and still no delivery. I called again he tells me the delivery guy is out delivering and has a few stops I said thats what you said 30 minutes ago and still no delivery. 3 hours later and still no food no delivery. 8 called and spoke to the manager. He said he never received the order. In explaining that the guy answering the phone confirmed my order and told me several times that the order was prepared and being delivered. The manager ignored that and kept repeating that he wanted me to produce a confirmation number then he hung up. Waiting 3 hours for food that Never came and this restaurant didnt take the responsibility of their poor business practices. I WILL NEVER. oRDER form here again! This was not a relaxed night in waiting for food. Dont order from here they dont respect you as a client, dont care they take forever, make excuses for their poor customer service and over priced. Yeah this is a diner really; prices are ridiculous!!!!!!!

Fantastico locale stile anni 50! Davvero consigliato!!!

Asked for a hot tea. Got a warm tea. Asked for more hot water in a separate glass, got warm water in a separate glass. I figured that was OK I could deal with warm tea. Order a bleu burger and onion soup. Server brings out soup first and burger second. Soup was great. Burger was warm and overcooked. When I got my tab, he had added 4 bucks on to the price of the blue burger (that comes with fries and coleslaw) and I simply checked the menu. His response was "but you said u wanted lettuce and tomato which is 4 dollars extra." As the lettuce, tomato and fries sat on my plate un touched. That moment when your server says what you said when you ordered very specifically and very delicately, repeating everything 3 times. *****Had to go back and change my rating. Manager charged me what she said she would not charge me. I noticed as I looked at my bank statement*****

This place USED to be amazing. As in... PAST TENSE. What happened, Remedy? Two stars. One is for the memories. This used to be a fantastic gem here in the Lower East Side. I remember stumbling upon it and thinking, "Im so lucky this place is in my hood!" Now orders are continuosly screwed up, anyone and everyone (especially those who take phone orders) have become argumentative and careless, it takes about an hour and a half for a delivery (even on a slow day), the food is mediocre at best, and the prices have gotten pretty ridiculous. Guys, youre a diner. Come on. At this point, Im pretty friggin ecstatic that Comfort Diner will be opening on Grand Street soon. Ive had enough of being treated as though Remedy is doing me a favor. Adios, guys! FYI: When ordering mashed potatoes, keep in mind they charge extra for gravy.

There was a long wait for brunch, but worth it! We chose to sit outside to cut down on our waiting time. They provided blankets for us. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it is still the most delicious egg sandwich Ive ever had in my life. The egg, cheese, and aioli made a mouth-watering combination one can not soon forget. And the potatoes! Hands down, the CRISPIEST potatoes Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I can not stress the crispiness of these potatoes. Im drooling thinking about the food here. Remedy Diner has made it on my list of "Must Eat" in sf. My only complaint is that the "large" orange juice is the size of my water glass. Wish it was just a littler larger.

I went to Remedy Diner for the first time two nights ago. I ordered the corn chowder soup and grilled cheese with bacon. I expected the serving for the soup to be small (about a cups worth), but Remedy surprised me with a decent portion for just $4.50. The soup was really good as well as the grilled cheese. The texture of the bread was really good and distinct. I finished my meal with their tiramisu which was good. I like the interior of Remedy. As someone mentioned before: its retro in its vibe. If youre ever on the border of Alphabet City and the Lower East Side definitely check it out.

The brunch specials are what keep me coming back here. Ok, so the food is pretty standard, but the sheer volume of food you get for your money makes me want to squeal with excitement. My Hangar Steak & Eggs brunch special was served with a bowl of fruit, biscuits and gravy, a Bellini (or a mimosa, depending on what youre up for. I could have totally had a mimosa, but chose the Bellini because I like to be spontaneous every once and a while) and a cup of coffee. The best cure for those Saturday nights on the town where you drank a little too much or maybe stayed out a little too late.

Food was ok. The service was terrible as we had a new waiter and we asked for straws for our waters (as he was passing by) , extra sauce for the sandwich I had that was lacking sauce and to tell him the other sandwich was missing things that was suppose to come on the sandwich and he had the audacity to say, "guys, can you tell me everything you want at once because Im behind and I cant keep coming to the table." Needless to say, we left him a tip alright....a nice hand written note with some advice on how to be a better waiter.

When I got in the head waiter was very viciously yelling at an employee as he was trying to sweep the floor. It was very demeaning to the employee and obviously off setting for me and my group. I would hope that they realize that how they treat their employees mirrors on how the whole resteraunt is perceived. Im writing this with the sheer intent that management reads it and is able to change their perceived attitude. The food was Nothing special, but it could be because of the taste the earlier incident left in my mouth.

Remedy diner has horrible customer service and their food is subpar. If you order anythinf for delivery make sure to tack on 2-3 hours to the alleged 45 min delivery time. When you call to follow-up be prepared to have to call multiple times and hearing that the delivery person is in their way. Ive ordered from this establishment a few times and the above occurs each time without fail. By the time the food comes its cold and tastes as if it was sitting around for 2+ hours. Save your money and go somewhere else
