I have been to many Diners in my life, but not many make food with sooo much love as this place does. Sure its not fancy and looking like a superstar on the outside, but who cares when you have a place that makes some of the best food around. It has that "mom and pop" feel, but be assured it is very clean and the workers make some of the most delicious dishes around. I mean this place puts other Diners to shame. I honestly could write a whole lot about this place, but you must simply just go taste for yourself. The one thing I can tell you that you must get is the homemade pies with ice cream. Anyone will do, but there best is the apple pie. Ask for it to be served hot with that delicious vanilla ice cream they have available. Even if you dont find something (highly unlikeable) that you seem interested in, you can ask the chefs to make you something unique and they will gladly obliged to make something great for you. The price is just as sweet as there pies, so indulge and be happy.

My Boyfriend and I been ordering from your restaurant every weekend for delivery. I order it from seamless. But how come I order food and it shows me my total and when it gets delivered (especially when I pay cash) why is the total from SEAMLESS is different when the delivery guy delivers it??? Like lets say online my total is $17.82 And the tax included but when I got my food you guys added another $1.50 for an "extra tax" and I dont know where did that came from. If I order online and Im already getting tax. Why am I getting tax again???

The food was subpar, the seats were too close to the tables, and the waitress who was friendly enough had a slight odor about her or maybe she was wearing perfume that didnt agree with my sense of smell. I still felt compelled to tip because I realize that waiters/waitresses work very hard and deserve better wages. My dinner companion appeared to be very sick after dropping her off after the experience. I am not sure if I will return.

I have been dining at Dales for about 20 yrs now. My experience has always been a pleasant one. The service is welcoming. The wait time for your order is acceptable. The seating area and restrooms are clean. Oh and the food... it could be a simple Cheese Omelette or Broiled Salmon with Crab Stuffing or even a Bacon Grilled Cheese Burger, any food coming to the table is outstanding.

Friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. Omelettes are well-prepared using fresh ingredients, and come with crispy hashbrowns. Open late, and 24-hours from Wednesday through Saturday night (no longer 24/7 like before). Great option for dinner food if youre in the area. I actually bike up from Inwood for a late night meal!

I come for the food but stay for the staff. They are very welcoming, warm and polite. The atmosphere was mentioned before, and I can attest to the pleasant quaintness of the location. I cant recommend it any higher, for proof, you can see me there every Saturday around 3!

I absolutelty LOVE this place. Consistently awesome diner. Some of the items are hit/miss but its a diner, not a gourmet italian spot. Greek items are particularly great, like spinach pie is out of this world. The tuna salad is soooo on point too. <3

Good value. Food like you make at home for a reasonable price. Neighbourhood is not the best though. Had a couple of home boys in the booth next to me, every second word was m*** f***. Might be an idea to leave your granny and your kids at home.

Ordered delivery & the food came on time. Delivery guy was friendly. The food was very good. Chicken gyro platter was filling & authentic with olives & grape leaves even an anchovy with the salad. Great price also.

Louies is our diner, and by our I mean it is home. Great grilled burgers, amazing prices, family and friends going in and out. We actually leave Manhattan and go a few stops uptown just to go there.

Live right by it. I love this little diner. Riverdale diner has a much bigger menu, but the atmosphere and service are much better here.
