I stumbled across the restaurant in Ardsley quite accidentally this past summer -- and am so glad that I did! The food is amazing -- among the best Indian food I have ever had. The ingredients are fresh, and all dishes are prepared to order. The service is courteous, professional and engaging. I have visited the restaurant on several occasions now, and everything that I have had thus far has been just excellent. Each time I have had it, the chicken biryani has been spot on with flavorful rice and extremely moist chicken pieces. Chicken tikka masala was perfectly cooked -- with tender chicken pieces and a rich tomato and cream sauce. Coconut fish was a terrific surprise -- mild, flavorful boneless fish with coconut and tamarind (a specialty of the Malabar Coast). The Calcutta Chicken roll and the Calcutta Vegetable Chop were really good. Although I havent had all of the dishes so I cant say for a fact but I think this is one of those rare restaurants where you can basically order anything off the menu and know that it will be excellent. Highly recommended!

I left calcutta 5 years ago and would return to calcutta every year to have a taste of the kati rolls, mishti doi (Sweet curd), and the amazing varieties of Sandesh.. For all those people who want to relive the taste of the kati rolls should go to Calcutta Wraps and Rolls... Just Amazing !!!!! This is the first time I have felt after 5 years that Calcutta Rolls are just like what they are in Calcutta.... This is going to be my family hang out.... Ohhhh the Sweet White Lassi was out of this world... BTW Mr. B the Kheer was amazing.. Thank you so much... I love the place... :-)

I love the idea of being able to get Indian takeout in a town dominated by Chinese food and pizza. I ordered the lunch special with chicken tikka masala. The wait was maybe 10-15 minutes, but there is free chai, water, and tea while you wait. There are a couple tables to eat at if you want, but the kitchen was a bit loud so I would just get your meal to go. The quantity of food was decent, and included not only the main dish but 4 large pieces of naan (or rice), a choice of vegetable dish, and yogurt sauce. Definitely enough to share or have for a small meal the next day.

Very pricey considering the portion size. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala, a garlic naan bread and a Skinny Lamb wrap (Appetizer), which came up to $24. In all fairness the Chicken Tikka Masala was quite flavorful. Ill concede that the sauce was authentic and a little different to other tikka masalas that Ive tasted. The portion of rice, however, was simply offensive. It came in a ridiculously tiny box and overall, for $24 it was not worth it. Just because you are located in Westchester does not mean you can bump the prices up unjustifiably!

My son-in-law and myself have only been to CW&R once. However, we were really impressed. As a retired military person, I have spent 26 years overseas to include 2yrs in Pakistan and 4yrs in England. Consequently, I have much experience with Indian food. The goat was the best I have ever had (with the exception of Salateems in Pashawar, Pakistan). The Chicken Tikka Masada was also outstanding. My son-in-law is Japanese who travels frequently. He also has an excellent palate. We gave CW&R 5 Big Shining Stars!!!

Great prices, amazing food. I suggest getting delivery, because parking can be a pain in that plaza, but delivery can take a Long time, particularly on busy nights. Order ahead of time accordingly. They have an app for ordering which is pretty great. Note: Lol, I just ordered from here and they forgot some of my order. I called (the delivery guy) and waited an hour and half to be told they forgot/etc again. Oh well. Still a good place.

Ive been here several times and being Indian I know what good authentic food should taste like. They have the right spices and everything is cooked with great balance. True authenticity is very important to me and this place offers it. I love their Kathi Roll and Chicken Tikkas! Best Indian restaurant in the entire county. Amazing food and amazing customer service. They know how to cook and treat their customers with respect.

Been here more than once, and each time hated it. The puris are drenched in ghee and oil, and the paneer is rotten in the paneer tikka masala. Worst Indian restaurant I have been too, and take my word, I love ghar ka khana--- this doest level up one bit. Should have given a 0.4 rating instead.

Love the food, hate the fact that on Google it says you are open from 11-9pm on Sundays. I show up at 3pm, you have a dinning room full of clients and you wont serve me because you are closed until 4pm. Just get it updated on Google so the same thing does not happen to someone else.

This place is predominately a delivery restaurant but has some of the best Indian food I have ever had. They have indoor seating as well but keep in mind it is almost entirely self serve. Everyone there is super friendly and they have bottomless chai tea.

Best Indian food in Greenburgh/Ardsley area. Always full of flavor and very authentic. Staff is friendly and helpful. Order far in advance, they cook everything on the spot, which means it takes on average 30-45 minutes for the orders.

Great food, will be coming back often. You can skip Orissa, and all the other so called Indian restaurants in the area for this!

Their samosas are food crack, you should also eat everything else on the menu. My beard approves of this joint.
