If you are going to eat on the boardwalk the Hot Spot is a decent place to consider, just dont go in thinking your going to get gourmet food. If youve ever been to the Jersey shore you come to expect subpar food with outrageous prices. I found this place to be the exception. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is better than what youd expect for the location. Mostly everything is fried, and they give very generous portions. On our recent trips me and my husband were plenty stuffed for about $20, which left a bigger lump in our wallets and more time to enjoy all the activities the area has to offer. This will be our go to for a quick bite for our future trips.

Ordered a meal and told the waitress my son had to use the restroom and that we were not leaving. We got up and came right back and our food was cleared from our table. The owner said that was our fault and would only replace part of our meal (the meals were not even eaten yet). I have been coming to hot spot my whole life and I will never come back. The level of rudeness from her was so off putting she should have done at least something.... but no I paid the full bill and will never return!

very bad experience... we went to Hot Spot for breakfast and my friend ordered bacon with her pancakes. she got the pancakes but not the bacon. when we got the bill, they had charged us for food we ordered but never received. when we kindly informed the waiter and cook of their mistake, they insisted they were right and would not take it off the bill. we paid for food we never ate. the people were rude and the food was TERRIBLE!

It is confusing to find the specific place because there are so many Hot Spots. This one was the best and we come every year. The pizza is very good for the price and I personally recommend the specialty fries. The problem is, the pizza is different at every Hot Spot and the fries are only at this one so you cant expect consistency. Also, in the pre-season the service is slow and hard to understand

The Hot Spot chain of stores along the boards of the wildwoods have been there a long time. The Hot Spot IV to be exact had delicious food. the only problem was was that the bathroom was horrible. there was pee all over the floor. the toilet ws clogged and the smell was horrid. i hope the janitors for this chain have picked up the pace, because this got them a 3.

Hot Spot is a relaxing place with great food, and an unbeatable view. Theres nothing like eating seafood in the semi-open back section - give me the salt air in my lungs and the cry of the gulls as I dine while watching the waves roll in after a day spent on the beach! Wish I was there RIGHT NOW!!!

I got a cheesesteak and a wrap and two appetizers and it was $40 plus $6 for every medium drink ! I was shocked at the prices the food was good but I dont think it was worth the price. If you have a lot of money to spend then come here but if you dont want to break the bank, dont !!

The Food is the best on the boardwalk!!! Have been eating at the Hot Spot for the past 5 years and have never got sick of it. The staff is also very nice and friendly. There are many hot spots on the boardwalk but dont get fooled, this is the one to go to!

the food was horrible, my boyfriend and i believe we got food posioning. it was disgusting inside as well. the bathrooms smelled, there was flies, and the plates did not look washed. it ruined our one night there. i do not recommend eating here.

I ordered the Coconut Shrimp...and they made me SO SICK. Its absolutely disgusting. Unless you want to be throwing up your whole vacation, I would take your money elsewhere.
