My kids and I were on a last minute trip to The Wild Center and we were told by a local to try this diner for breakfast...This was the WORST PLACE EVER, period. Do not waste your time!! This is a LONG story, but I am NOT making any of this up, I promise. There are about 10 tables in total and at least 4 people (waitresses and bussers) working in the front of this diner, and it took TWO HOURS (again, I am not exaggerating) for us to get 1 pancake, 1 slice french toast, and 2 eggs with homefries, bacon, toast. We were waited on AFTER 2 other tables that sat down after us. Coffee and apple juice were watered down. The eggs tasted like fish (?), homefries were like eating rocks, the bacon was complete fat, (there was no meat on the bacon at all... I have never seen that in my life) and toast was cold. My daughter thought there was sand in her pancake, it was so gritty! After the 2 hour wait, the poor service and bad drinks, I finally sent the eggs, homefries and bacon plate back, and the waitress did take it off our bill. Btw, that was the ONLY decently nice thing she did for us the whole time we were there. I paid for the bad pancake, french toast slice and watered down drinks, and as we were leaving the waitress CHASED us out to the parking lot, with our bill in her hand, and claimed that I didnt pay enough to cover the breakfast (remember - I paid $4 for a horrible childs pancake, that we never ate... I paid $6 for 3 drinks, 2 of which, we never drank). She added up the bill wrong, attempted to over charge us, and then tried to BLAME me for it!!! I showed her how 6+4+4=14, and the tax and so on, and she saw the mistakes on the bill, and we were FINALLY able to leave. I am STILL kicking myself for going there. We were on a mini vacation and we needed all the time (and money, I am a single parent) we could get. We passed a McDonalds on the way to this place, and although we almost never go there, I wish we did. I suggest you pass up this diner and just go to Mcdonalds, if you are ever in the area, they are 2 or 3 minutes away from each other. You will save yourself lots of time, (I am sure some) money, stress and you will be able to get your family a decent meal. Also, to be fair, there was one nice bus girl who saw that I had kids, and after about 20 minutes of us waiting for a table, cleared a place for us to sit.

I went here with my parents, and it was really busy on a Tuesday. My Mom wanted to give this review, so she wrote: "The service at this place was abysmal. After 45 minutes of waiting, our group of four asked about the status of our order. The waitress had an attitude and started listing tables that were in front of us, which wasnt true. There was a table she mentioned that sat down and ordered after us but were already eating their food. I will never go here again." I got biscuits with sausage gravy. It was ok. Ive had better and worse. The waitress was pretty attentive to refilling my Fathers caffeinated coffee but not so much my Mothers decaf. My Mom and I have both been waiters, so we know its a hard job, and maybe it was the kitchens fault for the slow service, but her attitude ruined the meal for us. Also, we did wait at least 45 minutes for our food.

Homemade bread was so yummy. I loved the turkey club! Was a great place to grab a quick bite to eat after a visit to the wild center. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. Only gave it 4 stars because the prices were a little on the higher end.

Delicious! Was in the area for the weekend and stopped for dinner. Ended up doing breakfast for dinner with sausage gravy biscuits, good home fries, and some scrambled eggs. I wish I had taken a picture. If in the area again, I shall return!
